Remarks

Positive remarks- Good faculty. Awesome environment inside campus. A great crowd of students rich in culture and sense of understanding. Freedom to explore. Trust on students at every time. Responsibility is given to students to handle things on their own. Negative Remarks- "Never taught to say or write negative about anything" :)

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is rich in basics as well as advanced topics in every subject. The best part is that it keeps on revising after a duration of 3-5 years which keeps the course upgraded. So, in my opinion the course has a potential to make every student a step ahead from others. Also, the practicals are handy to make sure students learn the exact things in labs as well. Labs are equipped with latest tech and equipment and are always kept in updation.

Internships Opportunities

Absolutely YES, They provide with great internship in whatever field you are willing to perform and learn. Experience at the respected internships were as of an employee of their own. We were put to ground with a great load of work and things to understand and solve. It was full of challenges and knowledge. At each step, the level of interest increased and we felt like being a permanent employee at the company. Companies like JCB, Bajaj, Honda, Hero, Thermodyne, Faurecia etc are just a few of the many great companies that provide internship. Stipend are not provided at all the companies but ranges from 3000-5000 INR, which is a good amount to start with.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and job offers from the best of the industries in the Pune region comes to students with no previous backlogs and an average of 6.5 GPA in all semesters. Job Opportunities comes from the time when they are put to internship with different companies. Also, training and placement cell takes care of every need and skills that are required by the students to compete in the interview. All sort of courses and exposure are provided to students by Training and Placement cell of the college.

College Events

4.5

There are a number of events celebrated in our college, which have a life lasting experience for the whole college. 1. National Students union social activity. 2. Blood donation camp. 3. Cultural fest. 4. Technical fest. 5. National Seminar on Technical Advancements. 6. International technical Conference. 7. Fashion Show. 8. Musical and Ghazal night. 9. Nukkad Natak competition. 10. Dance competition. Apart from this, various reoccuring competitions keep on going in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a feasible one in my opinion. Tuition fee/year- 1,00,000 INR Exam fee/year- 12000 INR (avg.) Caution money- 2600 INR (Only 1st year) If the candidate has appeared for the gate exam, and has a valid GATE SCORE, he/she can be exempted from tuition fee by 50%, which is a great thing in my opinion. The deserving candidates are well offered and treated.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for Loan or scholarship facility so, i have no information regarding the same. Though, there must be some offer to students with good academic background and achievements. Scholarship should be provided by college to students with good GPA.

Campus Life

3.5

Activities such as NSS council social activities for humanity, nature and society are often done by students on a regualr basis. Labs are always in an updating mode, i.e. they are always growing and providing with every possible equipment and facility every now and then. Sports activities are the most important for any institution, therefore, Bharati Vidyapeeth never stands back at this and has a huge field for all the students to be healthy and fit. All sorts of sports, such as Cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc are always in action. Other activities such as comedy shows, fashion week, ghazal night keep on pumping up the enthusiasm of students to learn and grow.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel infrastucture - 7/10 The hostel allows you to keep your own vehicle as it has a huge parking space. Although, the hostel facility is only for 1st year students, and after that students need to shift into their own transformation nearby college. Facilities provided- 7/10 WiFi at all times is provided, laundry facility with reasonable charges is provided and mess has a food quality with rating 2.5/5. So, all in all it is a place where you can settle down easily and the price is also not too high. 50000 INR/ year

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is the strength of the college and senior students perform their projects with the junior students in group. Alumni from 1968 batch are still active and willingly join hands to improve the college's power to deliver with strong support. A total of around 300+ alumnis stand together with the Bharati Family, having their network into every corner of the world and working alongside every industry, whether it is automobile or bollywood. Senior students are very friendly and grown up people. They are way past the ragging and teasing scenario like in other colleges. They are fun to talk to and hang out with. A culture of togetherness and fun filled experiences make a good overall senior-junior relationship where they are made to work together in different programs and function in and outside the college.

Exam Structure

One of the best things is the exam structure which is always kept simple and defined in order to make students tackle with all the various fields at one go. Exam structure has 2 unit tests, 1 main exam and Practicals. The final %age is calculated by taking 20% marks from Unit tests, 10% from attendance, 10% from assignments and 60% from the main exam. The practical exam marks stand tall alone and are evaluated separately.

Admission

The very first thing that I should mention is that a lot of my friends from school suggested me this college as it has everything handy and the crowd and culture is highly appreciable. I first filled the exam form by registering online from college website bvducoep.edu.in which comes in the month of Feb-march-April. Then after this I got the admit card on email and appeared for the exam which happens usually in last week of MAY or first week of JUNE. The selection of candidates is on the basis of merit(for M. Tech). Only the first 70 merit candidates are selected for the selection process for the availability of 18 seats(in my case). Also, 70 other candidates are put in waiting merit list, in case any seat(s) remain vacant. I experienced that once you disagree for admissions or fail to deposit fee on time, they will reject your form immediately, even if you have an eligible merit rank. After the merit list, the formality of submitting tuition fees, registration fees and caution money is done. And the regular classes start from 15 July onwards. If you have appeared for Gate and have a valid 'Gate Score', you will be given 50% relief on college fees. Good Gate Score is the best way to get admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty here is a great mix of experience and quality when it comes to anything related to their duty. They are devoted and purely dedicated towards the development of the students and college eventually. They are funny, hardworking, friendly, understanding and full of tremendous knowledge and experience. Some faculties are such great in person that you would remember them for a lifetime. They have well connected network of opportunity for you if you have will to achieve the greater good.

Placement Experience:

The university has one of the quality placements in India. The placement committee of the university is properly privy to the groups and college students' necessities and pursuits and the committee put together us accordingly. For our batch, the very best placement package deal went as much as sixty-five LPA and the common placement package deal turned into around 17.50 LPA. Few college students have been very lucky to acquire pre-placement offers. Companies like Uber, Ruberik, Millennium, Black Stone, Barclays, CITI Bank, Delloite, Accenture, EY, PwC, Infosys, Samsung, Amway, Wipro, Loreal, Marico, and so on visited our campus for placement power withinside the university.
