Likes
- The infrastructure was good as there were many trees inside and it is a good experience for me to be there.
- The placement is good as they give you enough training to get placed
- The teachers were friendly with everyone and teaching is very good
Dislikes
- It contains arts and engineering. Engineering is strict than arts.
- Engineering students should follow more rules and should be in class by morning 8:45
- They also follow dress code as formals everyday. It is one of a drawback on my opinion
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams were not difficult as it is easy only. They conduct semester exam on continuous days but it is easy for us to manage. As im interested in computer science so i just joined BSC CS. You can join in which field you are interested in.
Internships Opportunities
There are many placement available. You can expect companies like wipro, cognizant, Infosys, zoho and also starup companies. If we get selected in any of the company they will give you attendance and allow you to work there
Placement Experience
They will start placement training on your second year and it is very useful as they will teach you every thing including every topics in aptitude, problem solving, group discussion and how to behave while attending interview. 75% lf students will get placed and some of them didn't.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very low as i had studied Bsc Cs. For that i just paid 28000 per year. They just ask you to pay the tuition fees and it is low only. They didn't ask you any other fees. They didn't ask you to pay for any functions, competitions etc.
Campus Life
They will conduct a function called "pranaya" Which is held every year. It contains various events they also include other college students.They didn't ask money for that. We can use library whenever we need it. There is also sports and extra curriculae activities offered. We can join if we are interested
Admission
I didn't applied for any other colleges than this. As this is located on main road and there is no problem for transport. So i choose this college. In some colleges there is no transportation and it us difficult. But here j didn't face that situation
Faculty
The faculties in karpagam college is just awesome. There gets mingle with the students easily. We didn't feel them as faculties as they are like our mother and friend. I'm lucky to have a good HOD and staffs as they all are good to us . They share their story with us and is it very helpful and interesting. In exams every subject is easy as they also provide us question bank
Night Life
There is a canteen and everything is affordable and tasty. We can also use gym if needed. Girls hostel is little strict than boys. Girls are not allowed outside the hostel after 7'o clock. Outside that college there are many shops and restaurants where we always hang out
