Not good for Mech

All facilities are been provided inside campus makes life easy, few good friends, u will enjoy the life in there.negative is placement perspective it's Not up to the standards.placement officer can sometimes be rude with you as he is frustrated due to lack in placement

Same old story,Indian education with oudated theories,techniques etc.few very good elective subjects they give in option but in the end they cancel as very few students really interested in learning something serious.you also suffer in this process.

They don't provide any internships, rather we need to search from outside or if someone whom u know working in industry,u can get internship during 2months holiday.It doesn't really help if u just attend internship,u should learn something so that you can explain in interview.or else it's a waste as in my case.

For mechanical, don't expect anything from college side apart from teaching.if u are from CS and IS,u have high probability of getting job.next comes EC then EE and for mecha and civil,very less.you must prepare for gate in final yr and get some mtech or psu etc

Main event is Insignia. bollywood singer comes and performs on the last day of event.it runs for like 2-3 days with different events from each department and cental as well.apart from this, there will be freshers talent hunt for newcomers

My time it was 36000 kea fees plus 13000 college fees.but now it is increased i guess.for donation seat, price is quite high.it may come upto 6lakh to 8 lakh i guess. Donation seat not worth i think

Some scholarships are available if ur from sc st obc.GM dont expert anything.Karnataka bank is available in college campus along with ATM.student loan can be taken anywhere.u know procedure right?

Huge ground with all type of sports facilities are available, u can choose according to ur preference, u get everything.labs are good mechanical, others i don't know.limited instruments are available and u can use them during ur project with permission, instructor may help you out as well

Best thing is hostel.whatever it may be but you will enjoy hostel, mess might be boring after few days, bus hostel with your friends, u will not be bored.hot water, wifi, clean etc.3 hostels for boys and 2 for gorls are available

I don't think there any such strong connection,you just need to make few connections as ultimately these things help you out in your professional life after college. Seniors are friendly, ragging is almost zero

There will be 3 CAT, best 2 will be considered each of 20 marks, final semester exam is of 100 marks later converted to 50 and 10 marks in the finals will be given by faculty by conducting quiz and based on attendance.

I wrote Karnataka CET and got around 10500 rank, i applied to few colleges in Bangalore, BVB in hubli, few in Belgaum.ended up getting this college in first round mech dept, if i had waited till last round,i would have got some other good branch.

Very good faculties with huge experience are available in mechanical dept except few who recently joined.i have mixed feelings about teaching, few are too good, others worst.Mechanical dept has some reputation with respect to teaching
