Likes

College atmosphere is quite good. Also the teachers are friendly and they encourage students for studies and and other things.

Dislikes

Some time Teacher takes unnecessary holidays and it effect our studies. Also in summer, ground staff did not give entry to student. Which we think its quite rude

Course Curriculum Overview

Area for improvement in the course is teachers are using their old way of teaching. Its modern world and teachers should be used computers and projecters. Exam timing is around 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. And then 2nd shift starts, it start from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm

Fees and Financial Aid

My college name is Government national college Sirsa Haryana. Its annual fees around 4000 Inr. Its annual scholarship for Sc and St is around 14000 and for BCA is 8000. Fees of lower cast is also low.

Campus Life

My campus life is quite Good. Me and my batchmates enjoys the college life. There are several functions in the college which we celebrate. Like teacher day, republic day, independence day and many others. There are also sports teachers. They guide many students.

Admission

Its a Government college and its fees is very low compare to others. 2ndly it is opposite the bus stand which we can reach easily due to bus service. I applied this college and i have good marks in 10th and 12th so i get admission easily. So i choose this college.

Faculty

There are many teachers in our college, but there are some sort of teachers also. It causes the other teachers workload. Exam was held in every six months. Exam is quite normal level neither hard nor easy

Night Life

There is a gym in the college but it is not as a clean it should be. Cafeterias are also there but its quality is not good. There is a hostel near the college. It is special for the girls student. There are some famous hangout places outside the college like chai sutta bar, dominos and many others.

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did my senior secondary in arts so I choose bachelor of arts for my further studies in this college.In bachelor of arts There are total six semesters in three years. the teaching quality is good, but there is one problem that the lectures are too long for a single subject. Good experience but can be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.

Best university for best career

Before choosing this college I searched about Kruk Shera University, but but that university was too far from my house so I did not choose that university and apart from that I also tried to take admission in BU university in Chandigarh, but because of some board issues I didn't applied there, but when I searched about this university, I found everything was perfect and it was also near my house and there was also hostel facilities for me to stay there, so I thought this is the best university for me and and the admission process is really easy in this college. for taking admission you just need your 10th and 12th mark sheet and some basic documents like Aadhaar card and other basic details.
