the campus environment and greenery is something that i liked the most. the campus is huge and people travel toh places with the help of cycles

activa and two wheeler vehicles are not allowed for students so students have to travel either by walking or through bicycle

Course Curriculum Overview

chemical engineering subjects are somewhat related to chemicals and other then that important software for chemical industries which usually companies look for in a student are taught for example ASPEN

Internships Opportunities

internship projects usually start from 3rd year it is mandatory for students to do a internship in their respective field in the 5th sem. other than that, students on their personal opinions take part in various internship

Placement Experience

the average campus placement is 900000 rupees this year placement are ranged in both core and non core branches placements start from the beginning of the year only and before the end of the 4th year for students the companies stop coming

Fees and Financial Aid

hostel fees for one sem is 19500 rupees and at the end of each year for hostel fees we pay around 40000 out of which sometimes due to winter breaks and all they return around 10000 rupees. Fees for one year is 1.5 lakhs and for one sem fees is 70000 which we have to pay at the end of the semester

Campus Life

there are various clubs which include overall development of a student there are clubs which encourage extra curricular activities and even technical clubs there are various events and managing them helps a person to sharpen their overall skills

Admission

after the document verification hostel was alloted to students and after two or three days, the classes begun surat is a very safe city and the only government institute after iit gandhinagar in my home state

Faculty

faculty is very helpful and can help us in lot of directions. 75 percentage attendance policy is strictly followed as the attendance of each day is uploaded to the svnit online portal. The faculties make google classroom and share all the material there

Night Life

there is a intime of 10:30 followed in the campus after which the main gate of the campus closes it open at 6 in the morning again and the same intime is followed in hostels and students have to reach their respective hostels before 10:30

ITNU means total independence!

Placement Experience:

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.

Placement of Ec are too high and nice : go for it

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester student get eligible for placements. Highest package was of 38 lpa Lowest package was of 10 lpa Average package is 15 lpa . This data is from last year . Placements are nice and good . I want the placements after degree. Average 92 % students get placed last year .

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
