What Students Say

Likes

Playground , canteen , sports room, etc ,
Used to sit with friends and chill outside
Used to play volleyball with close ones .

Dislikes

I didn't like the way they give guidance to the students.
Placements are not at all upto the mark .
Some of the faculty were not good enough in their subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. It will be understood very easily by looking at it. It gives a summary of the course we are going to study in that particular semester.i also suggest the exams timing for the mid exams can be increased a little bit.

Placement Experience

Placements are not at all upto the mark in the college. In our batch many of us didn't receive any placements . Most of the time they bought us only call center and BPS role jobs. They didn't even try to bring good MNC companies at all

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly I used to pay 100000 rupees for my collage fee. Some scholarship people used to pay 45000. Generally it is based on reservation and marks obtained in EAMCET. Many of them also used to pay donations.

Campus Life

Overall college is good at conducting festival events like traditional day., annual day , musical night , bathukamma , etc and many other events , college also encouraged in sports activities and social activities.

Admission

From some of the friends and relatives, I got suggestions to join the college. I haven't written EAMCET , so I have to buy seat in the college with extra payment. I have selected Electronics and communication engineering in btect

Faculty

The faculty were good with students. They will be encouraging them . But some faculty show partiality. The marks structure will be 30 from internals i.e mid marks and 70 marks are external marks. We will also have lab exams.

Night Life

There are many hostels for boys and girls seperately around the campus. College also have govt bus facility outside of the college gate. College also have a big library and have sports room. Campus timings will be 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

The placements here are good and the highest package for this year 2024 is around 54 lakhs and last year the Highest package is 42 lakhs offered by Amazon there are placements available for every branch and the average package is 9 lakhs

The world inside GRIET

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

Students can get placement from the 5th sem. Placements that our university provided to students are also from MNCS and so on. Above 80-90 percent of students get placement. My plan is also to get placed during the course.
