- In VTU the curriculum, the topics and subjects are taught across all the affiliated colleges. Also practical education is give good weightage

Course Curriculum Overview
Cirriculum relavance: Mildly irrelavant and is not update with the industry, it contains fundamentals that is required by the students to become valuable engineers cirriculum comprehensiveness: the cirriculum is very comprehensive, the students can choose to go indepth (from the reference textbook), or choose to learn what is necessary (college notes) College notes is provided accordingly by the faculty and is not available in the library
Internships Opportunities
internship oppurtunities are provided in the cirriculum but our college doesnt provide proper techincal knowledge to crack the companies. most of the faculties, though proficient in their field of study lack the knowledge that can be used to crack interviews
Placement Experience
Due to recession and our college being tier 3, the placement is very weak in our college.students generally get oppurtunity to participate or take up placement from 6th sem(3 1/2 year). a few companies that visited our college are: nokia, deltax, deloite, johnson controls.
Fees and Financial Aid
fee structure: 90000 annualy or according to vtu rules and regulations skill enhancement: 5000 or based on college tier value fees should be paid once a year at the beginning scholarchip is available based on state/center facilities. only 1 scholarship can be availed. exam fees must be paid before sem exam and will vary based on the type of college like vtu, autonomus or deemed-to-be-university.
Campus Life
Campus life is hectic due to attendance requirement. a few fests are conducted like kannada rajyotsava, ethnic day and main events like kalaavaibhava. college includes clubs, sports facilities but we get less chance to attend them due to high cirriculum attendance requirements.
Admission
the reason to choose a certain college is due to cet ranking our college has got a maximim of upto 40000 ranked individual from cet other method includes management where the student will pay what the college has quoted as the fees for that particular course all students, once enroled will become part of vtu or which ever category that college is
Faculty
Faculty members: Faculty members are abundunt in college as it is a standard in vtu. they might be qualified and also good teachers but the quality depends on the tier of the college. Many phd level faculty or phd pursing faculty also will be there Exam: In VTU, examination is conducted very well and is generally very strict. The level of exam will be easy to medium Course structure: Each sem will have 3-4 main courses,0-2 practical courses and 1 cross disciplinary course/extra disciplinary course. All the courses, in VTU, will follow the evaluation of internal and external. internal evaluation will require college to do tests, assignments and mini projects. external evaluation is the typical sem exam. the final year encompasses less courses and has a strong emphasis on project and internship(long term)
Night Life
night life is good and the library will be open till 8pm. also the college does support students who do research activity or want to study. the campus has a canteen that provides food but can also be purchased outside the campus. abundant hotels are there
