Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus: A Hub of Learning, Innovation, and Students life

I chose this course because this course has high demand in industries. The inclusion of topics like embedded systems, wireless communication, cloud computing, and IOT protocols made it attractive. The curriculum includes the core concepts well and includes some practical elements like projects and case studies. Add more practical sessions, such as working with real IOT industry used software. Include emerging technologies like AI in IOT and cybersecurity for IOT systems. Organize industry visits. Exams are conducted twice a semester ( both mids and labs ). Exams can be easy and difficult sometimes.

Our college has established collaborations with several reputable comapanies that provide internships to its students. Some of the companies like HCL, Accenture, Cognizant provides interships with stipend. Roles and stipend details can vary annually based on company requirements and studnet profiles. The roles offered are Web Development, Server Development , tech support etc. Examples of projects undertaken by students are like web development projects, Server Optimization tasks etc. GNITC offers a structured internship program, for especially for students in their 6th semester. Students must have no backlogs and can apply internships through the institution's training and placement cell. Internship duration can vary according to company's recuirement.

Students have good Placement opportunities in my college. Students will be eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Many MNC companies and National companies frequently visit our college through placements. Some of the top companies are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. The highest package offer in our college is 21 lpa and the average package is nearly 4lpa. Some of the Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is around 60 to 70 %. My plan is to get placed in one of the top companies through placements.

The actual year-wise fee for my course is 1,30,000Rs. As I'm from OBC category , I get 35% scholorship. So, the year-wise fees I paid is 87,500 Rs. I've paid 87,500 Rs Tution fee and 2,500 Rs JNTU fee, as our college is JNTU affiliated college. My SC,ST batchmates have got 50% scholorships and also full fee reimbursemenst according to their EAMCET ranks. OC category students also got scholorships based on their EAMCET ranks. Government scholorships through EAMCET ranks are available for students.

I experienced a great campus life in this college. Our college hosts several notable events throughout the year. Brumous fiesta is a winter fest celebrated over two days in the month of january or december. Khel Mahotsav is an annual sports festival. Internal Hackathon is a Technical event conducted through specific dates that may vary annually. The campus has a well maintained library with a rich collection of books and journals, catering to various academic disciplines. Separate libraries are available for different campuses within the institution. While specific details about classroom facilities at GNITC are limited, the institution emphasizes modern infrastructure to enhance the learning experience. This includes well equipped labs and other essentials to support academic activites. The college encourages participation in various sports, organizing events like Khel Mahotsav. Annual fests such as Brumous fiesta showcase the cultural talents of students. The campus hosts a variety of student-run clubs and societies focusing on technology, sports, arts, and social causes.

I have applied for many other colleges like CVR, VNR and Srinidhi through EAMCET councelling. I got admission in Vignan college for CSE course. But I was looking for a better college than that. So I tried again in EAMCET second councelling. I got admission in Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus for CSE (IOT) course. I selected GNITC college over Vignan college by considering all the things like Infrastructure, Placements, and fees etc. I got rejected from colleges like CVR, VNR because of my EAMECET rank. My EAMCET Rank was not good enough to get admission in CSE courses in these colleges. Admissions in my college are proccessed through EAMCET counselling and management. The student must have to attempt EAMCET exam to get admission through EAMCET couselling.

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:50. Most of the teachers are approchable and helpful. They guide students not just in studies but also in projects and carrer related questions. Also some teahcers can be strict and less supportive. Most of the teachers are supportive and friendly, but I liked Suyash Sir and Krishna Sir because they were knowledgeable, explained concepts clearly, and made classes engaging. They also supported students with doubts. There will be two semester exams in an year with each semester having two internal exams ( both subjects and labs ). They exams are can be easy and also difficult sometimes. The approximate pass percentage of every semester will be around 65 to 75%. The course curriculum relevant to the specialization course

In my college students have various options to unwind after classes, both on and off campus. GNITC offers a gym equipped with modern fitness equipment. The campus has cafeteria facilities where students can relax and socialize. Campus provides hostels facilites for both girls and boys. Girls hostels are closed after 6pm. Campus timings are in between 9am to 4pm. My favorite hangout spots are istara and cafetaria. There are many hangout places outside the campus like cafes, restaurants, shopping malls, and cultural sites.
