Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course i am pursuing right now is great if utilized properly in coming future. As in upcoming future, everything will be digital, so my course teaches us alot about the technologies of future. The areas of improvement should be more addition of fields and the exam difficulty level should be decreased a little in my unuversity.

Placement Experience

3

The placement is just okay-okay as i am in a technical field but all the job vacancies coming here is about sales and marketing. The companies that visit here are HCL, Infosys and Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package last year on camous was 7,50,000 and lowest was 2,50,000. Only 50% students get placed on campus. My plan is to get a job after completion of degree and then doing MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of Computer Science Department is 1,18,000. It includes the tution fee. The admission fees is same as mentioned above. There is no registeration fee on semester basis but there is an exam fee which differs yearly at 7500 on average. We have 2 departments, one is IP amd other is AKTU. My friend is in BA LLB in IP department and her fees is nearly 60000-65000. There are not auch scholarships available for students.

Campus Life

4

There are no such fixed festivals here. This year we had a cultural event amd a makeup company visited here. Last year we had a fest called Abhivyakti amd it was the best event here. If we see on yearly basis then there is fresher that usually happens in December or January. There is a huge library here including a large number of books related to different fields. The facilities in classroom is just okay. Not much technologies are there. There are some sports competitions here. There are no such clubs or social groups here.

Hostel Facilities

3

I lived in the hostel for two years and it was the worst experience of my life as we had to sleep eating maggi everyday because the food was very bad and unhygienic. The facilities were okay including WiFi, AC, Fan etc. The hostel was quite affordable not very expensive but now it is handed over at rent to some outsider and it is no more under the college. I am currently staying in Alpha.

Admission

I chose this college because one of my relatives suggested it and when i went there for admission i liked the placements and the huge infrastructure of the college. I applied in other colleges too but the thing was i didn't get my desired stream. The admission criteria is very simple there should be 60+% in 10th and 12th and JEE related admission have a different criteria.

Faculty

3

There is a large number of faculty in bith the department and the faculty and teachers are quite helping. There was this mam of chemistry, she was the best teacher i met in this college. Very helpful, very understanding, every single student loved her. There is a teacher and she disriminates a lot between students. Only favours the students that follows her everywhere. There are 3 college exams every semester and a university exam every semester.

Night Life

3

There is a very huge ground here where everyone meet and play in the evening. There is a small canteen and a huge one too. The hostel timings for girls are 7 PM i.e. before 7 they have to be inside the hostel and after that they cant go out and for boys it is 9 PM. There is not any famous hangout places here. The locality at night is not that safe because in the evening the area gets deserted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
