How a B-tech student life goes in Galgotia college of engineering and technology

The college follows AKTU syllabus . I have taken admission in btech cse core branch there is no other stuff are tought other than AKTU syllabus because of which you have to focus on other skills by yourself. There is time to time exams taken in college that improve the students performance for the semester .The exams is taken as CAE 1,2 and PUT 1,2.

Right now I am in 1st year and for now there is no intershiop oppurtunities for freshers .so i don't have much information about internship but i have listened through the professors that there are internships provided by companies for the students of 3rd and 4rt year and some of the 2nd year students too.

The Placement percentage is more than 50% in our college as there are almost 2000+ freshers in our college in my batch there is 72 students . As of the previous data average package of our college is 4 to 6 LPA and the Highest package is 39 LPA by AutoDesk and the lowest package was 3 to 4 lakhs by TCS. There is more than 150+ companies offered more than 750+ jobs and the top recruiting companies are TCS ,Infosys,Airtel,cleartrip,autodesk,Jinko contracting,Axis Bank and many more.

The year wise fees of GCET is 1,15,603 Rs. for the first year. In which it includes tuition fees of 1,09,603 Rs and its security deposit fees is 5000 Rs(Refundable) application fees is 1000 Rs(i.e for One Time) There is Fee Wavier seat also available for the students admitted through AKTU counselling program and they have to pay only 20000 Rs. for seat allotment (refundable after admission) and 6000 Rs at the time of admission (this is the total fees).

Overall college is good in my aspect as the college organise freshers,fest . The Freshers party was held in first week of December. The freshers party was quite good Suryaveer singer came and sang good songs and there was DJ Night .Also Disha patani ,Bobby deol and South actor Surya came to promote their movies. Unifest will be held in april month may be. There are Clubs for extra carricullum activities such as Pghotography ,Video editing c Dancing ,Singing,Finance,and many more.

As i live in hostel outside of the college campus where there is lots of hostels .I have taken hostel in knowledge park 3 which is almost 2 to 3 km from the college as my hostel provides transport facilities so dont have any problem of travelling .When i came for college admission ,i came along with my 4 friends ,we all checked many hostel as of our requirement like good food, transports facilities and better place as well as better security.After searching many hostel we get a better hostel which costs 1,05,000 rs yearly.

I have chosen this college because I got seat as Fee Wavier which help me to save my financial problem . As my rank in jee mains is good enough which enables me for better college options also. Now if I talk about admission process so,it was so simple first of all there is AKTU counselling process there you have to pay 20,000 rs as seat acceptance fees for alloting seat to you after that at the time of admission you have to pay 90,603 rs (as total fees of the college is 115603 rs thus it combines with your seat acceptance fees). At the time of admission you have to brought all your original documents as well as its photostates as according to the AKTU guideline form.

The college strictly follows the AKTU syllabus. I have chosen this course because I don't have any choise as i was stuck with with UPTAC AKTU counselling and direct admission therefore at last there were no seats in the college in CSE and ECE core branches. The faculty is well qualified and are good at teaching and there is proper time for syllabus completion . The Exams in this college is held regularly as we have given CAE-1,2 and PUT 1,2.

As I am not in college campus hostel so i don't have any idea about college hostel infrastructure but as i live near the college hostel so i can say that it there is lots of cafe near college as well as near my hostel where you hangout with your friends and your loved once . As i talk about Library so you can access library any time between 7AM in morning to 8P.M in the night,all the study materials are available with good connectivity of wifi .
