Likes

The infrastructure and campus is really good and attractive
Library has a good collection of resources
The faculty is friendly and helpful in many ways

Dislikes

The crowd there is very unserious and disgusting
The attendance system is very strict and rigid
Lots of free time in between lectures and mass bunks

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is related to the course with every aspect whether it is theory or coding. It does contains some useless subjects as well but it's fine cause I think the curriculum is as it should be. Nice

Placement Experience

From 4th semester students are eligible for placements Companies like Google , amazon , wipro , infosys has visited chitkara Highest package was 10 lpa , lowest was 3 lpa 40% students get placed Looking for a job

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total cost of my degree after 3 years is 3.6 lakhs. It's breakdown will be 60000 sem fees each semester. Other than that I had to pay 40000 for bus fees for one year ( that includes 2 semesters).

Campus Life

The overall experience for the campus life is good as chitkara is a very happening place , everything new events are taking place and they are free for the students to join. Wide range of resources is available in libraries Tech like projectors are available in classes Various sports activities are available here

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college as I've always heard a lot about chitkara and had a dream to come here only. Also it is near to my house so it is convenient for me. For the admission process you'll have to clear an interview.

Faculty

Sooo sometimes the ratio is 1:30( for practical classes)sometimes it's 1:70(for theory classes). There are 2 STs , 2 lab performances and then comes the end term examination. 10% students fail it. It is very relevant to the course

Night Life

The nightlife is also good and peaceful, people can roam around till 12 am , there are various outlets where the students can have good food and enjoy the vibes. Places like south circle , square 1 , venkys are very trendy

Honest review

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

A journey

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

I have applied in lpu,chandigarh University and chitkara university, i got confirmation for admission from lpu but i choose chitkara over lpu because of the croud numbers of students intake in cse branch in lpu its approx 10,000 students but in chitkara its 3000 only that why i choose this over that.yes i got rejected from punjab university as i got less marks in jee mains.the admission process of chitkara university is very simple you call college admissions office they will assigned you one counselor then you can ask any questions about college in details then he will give you online admission form link fill it and send to him done simple...Read More
