Course Curriculum Overview
In this course I directly relate to industries like pharmaceutical, food or energy had piqued my interest and it offers career paths to different industries. The curriculum prepares us very well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits as our professors us takes us to industrial visits to learn about how industries works and also the we learn about various machineries and equipments used for various processes in the industry.Though we have labs mostly what we are taught is theoretical so, I think more practical in-hands experience should be provided to us also I would prefer if professors would work together with us on more practical real-life based projects. total three exams are conducted per semester and generally they are held in one to one and half month difference and as for difficulty I believe that if you have studied the concepts thoroughly then exams aren't that hard, they are moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities available at college like working as an research intern at any college also many companies like google, microsoft, etc. provides on campus internship opportunities, also students can apply for off campus interships at different companies. The stipend offered by companies like microsoft and google is about 125-150k per month.Since, I am only a second year student I am not knowledgeble about projects for internships
Placement Experience
The placements of my college are quite good, the overall average is about 15-16 lpa which is quite good and for my course the placement percentage is about 85% and the average package is 10-11 lpa and the highest package offered is of about 32lpa which was offered by Park+ and other recruiters include BPCL,HPCL,etc. Students are eligible for campus placements after sixth semester and if no campus placements are offered to students, students can apply for off campus placements in other companies or apply for GATE exam and do further studies in chemical engineering or join PSUs

Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been great the campus is quite beautiful and especially from social aspects I have made quite a lot of new friends and have gotten close to a few, and though the number of those is not a lot but they are like home away from home and as for the club involvement I am not in any club as of now but I'm thinking of joining literature club as I am intersted in creative writing. The names of the annual and technical festivals are Tooryanaad, Maffick, Technosearch, ESummit and they are held in September, October, March and Feburary respectively. There are a number of books provided in the library from literature to academic books to humanities, since in my college there are management and arts students as well so, library has books of subjects like history, politics, economics, etc. and there are quite a number of newsletters, newspapers, magazines and journals in reading section as well. There are a lot of extracurricular activities offered on campus like plays, quizes , etc. and as for sports there are a lot of opportunities like there are grounds for football, cricktet and there are a quite a few tennis, basketball and badminton courts as well. Also, the sports complex is quite good and have many equipments and the gym facitlities is one of the best in NITs also there are Inter NIT tournaments for students as well which consists of many sports like football, cricket, table tennis, badminton, chess, basketball, kabbadi, etc. There is a student-run social club named Aaroha which in collaboration with other colleges like AIIMS bhopal, IHM bhopal to provide education, good quality food and medical services to the underpriviledged children. Aaroha is also a government certified NGO
Admission
I chose this college over the other colleges I had applied to because of the rank i got in JEE mains examination. My college is better than many of the colleges I had applied to in terms of vibrant college life, placements, etc. Though the reputation of my college is not very good because earlier ragging was quite common here, However it has decreased a lot now. Ofcourse I had applied to many other colleges like many top tier IITs like IIT bombay, IIT Delhi and other NITs like NIT Trichy but since I didn't got good marks in my JEE Advanced exams I was unable to get into those colleges. The admission process of my college is quite simple since it is an NIT you can only get admission through JOSAA or CSAB counselling, you are eligible for these councelling by clearing JEE exam and the general cutoff for my course in this college for general category for home state is around 35-36k rank in JEE Mains and for other state students it is about 30k
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is 1:6. The student to faculty ratio is very healthy as faculties are very approachable and are always ready to help us. The name of faculties that i liked are Dr rajeev Parmar, Dr V.K. Bulasara and the reason I like them is that they are very friendly, helpful and understanding. The name of faculty I didn't like is Dr K. Suresh and the reason I didn't like him is that he is stubborn, not understanding. The best faculty is Dr V.K. Bulasara. There are a total of three theoretical exams per semester, they are moderate though the difficulty level depends upon the subject and the individuals understanding and interest in the subject. Only a few students fail to clear the exams. The course curriculum is very relevant to what is required in the industry
Night Life
The nightlife is campus is really good though generally we don't go out everyday, we just hang around with friends in our rooms or just walk around the campus. There aren't really good hangout spots in our campus and around our campus there are a few cafes which are really good for hanging out with friends. Students generally unwind after a day of classes by hanging out and talking with friends. Gyms are open till 9 p.m and library is open till 10p.m and on exam days it is open till midnight. For boys hostel there is no such thing as in timings however, for girls hostel 9:30 p.m is intime. The famous hangout places inside college is susangat, top'ntown, dasa, etc. and places outside the college include mata, upperlake, etc. The locality is safe to roam around at night as the gaurds are on 24 hr shift
