Disaster for Statistics

Actually i am really passionate about mathematics and the statistics fasinated me too, and i want to be a data scientist that is why i opted statistics but after joining the college i got to know that i took admission in a wrong college.

Sri pratab college is a prestigious college in jammu and kashmir and is also the first college of jammu and kashmir. The year wise fee for bsc Statistics is --> 3500Rs university component and 7300 Rs College component and in second year you will have to pay less than the first year. and other component is exam fee which is around 2000 Rs for each semester and there are other charges taken from students.

Now i have been going to this college for almost 2.5 years and all i can say is , and what i felt there is i wasted my time, money everything . i dont know about the other subjects but for statistics it is disaster.

i applied only for two colleges viz Amar singh colllege and Sri pratap college , it was a merit based assessment and university (cluster unversity) provded me this college on the bases of my marks secured in class 12th.

Faculty to student ratio is very less, but the teachers are very humble and supportive espicially Mushaq sir , he is really a gem. there are total two exams in a semester (internal --> conducted by the respective professors) and (External--> conducted by the university)

fortunety there is a gym in the college but whenever i visited the gym , i always saw a lock on its door , i dont think the gym is accessible to the students. there is nothing like night life in this college.
