Likes

College has a big campus ensuring students to relax during their free time
College has a very strong training and placement cell helping all the build up skills starting from the basics of communication to getting advanced knowledge on programming languages

Dislikes

Most of the Faculty doesn't teach in english language
There are not much events organised .Events related to coding gets organised frequently
College is located in such a place where it gets difficult for people to reach college using the public transport facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching methods like usage of smart boards to explain topic using ppts must be reduced . curriculum doesn't very much focus on implementation of theoretical knowledge. There is an absence of real world Experience

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 112500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee for students via counselling is ?1,12,500. Yearly fee for management students depends upon stream selected such as trending streams like CSE , , CSE(AI&ML) and other CSE related streams has higher fee when compared. Minority Students with scholarship fee ranges between ?2000 and ?5000

Campus Life

Technical events like hackerranks and many other coding events often gets conducted . There are branch wise clubs which helps the students of their branch to conduct/participate in multiple events Extra curricular activities gets conducted once a year. There gets shortage of books during the exams in college's library.

Admission

I applied for many other colleges out of which I got a seat at MJ in the mechanical stream which I was not very much interested.later during my second counselling I tried for many other colleges but failed to make out .during my third counselling I opted for AIML stream in ace . Exams accepted to get admitted into the college is only through TSEAMCET . There are no other exams through which a student can get a chance to enter

Faculty

Some Faculties are easily approachable in case of clarifying doubts . Almost all Faculties who are simultaneously working for ace academy for gate preparations are good. sometimes Same faculty teaches multiple subjects which is a major drawback for students There are 5 semester end exams(theory) and 4 lab exams yearly .

Night Life

Don't expect too high from word GYM . There are not much places to hangout near college. College timings : 9:30 am -- 4:30 pm . It is difficult to find means of transport after college timings . Cafeterias gets closed after college timings

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. The course includes the subject which is necessary to get job.while I was studying the exam timing for us is 3hrs

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Pros and cons of nitw

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students are getting ppo , it's obvious because of nirf of nitw and top placements are here only. Around 80 percent of students are placed if we skip the biotech branch because they all go for higher studies Highest package was 88lpa last year and the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is about 13lpa I want to go for tech placements and want a package of 30 lpa that's enough for me

I applied to amrita university in coimbatore and also attempted the entrance exam. But I could not join because of their fee structure and was also very distant from my current location.I have also written jee mains and advanced exams, but I got seats very long from my location.As a girl student, my parents feared my safety and could not join those colleges.
