Computer science , electronics and mechanical being the preferred branches have a very good placement records. Other branches are not that good as compared. Curriculum needs a little revamp. Lack of stronger computer science student forums to help students learn about competitive programming and new technologies.

I believe curriculum is a little old when it come to the branches like CSE. where technology becomes obsolete at a very fast rate. But positive thing is they have upgraded the curriculum to include latest subjects like Data science and distributed programming which will help students to learn basics of new technologies when they go out in the corporate world.

Not really. But they do have collaborations with international internship forums liKe DAAD which professors can help you with. Some branches do provide option for 2 month summer internship on research projects in almost all departments and stipend may vary from 5k to 15k.

It depends on the branch though. But overall the college has more than 80percent placement record. Computer science having the branch with highest Average package of almost 10lpa. With metallurgy having the lowest average package of around 3.75lpa.

There are total 3-4 events that happen in this college. 1. Dandiya night - September/October 2. Scholar's cup - October 3. Malviya sports festival- February 4. Blitzsclag - April 5. Aiambt - Feb(alternate year)

Fee structure is feasible as compared to other NITs. It costs you around 50k per semester for B.Tech. And almost 30k per semester for hostel including mess fee. Overall expense for BTech comes around 6-7lakhs.

Being a tier 2 college almost all the top national banks easily provide loans for education for the college. For scholarships abroad it has options for DAAD AND MITACS. Variety of Indian government scholarship schemes for different categories are also available for students belonging to almost every caste and religion.

Labs are very well equipped with high tech infrastructure. Newly built Vivekananda lecture theatre with fully air conditioned lecture rooms and huge seating capacity multi purpose auditoriums. Multiple extra curricular societies like DRAMATICS(DIL) , Robotics(zine), Mechanical (Baja),Dance(EMC) are there in which students can pursue their interests. Sports facilities are pretty decent. Completely renewed fitness centre with a dedicated football and cricket ground and tennis court. Well maintained basketball and volleyball court. Sports has always been one strong point for the college with always bagging multiple awards during inter college events.

Moderate. It has 8 hostel for boys with overall accomodation capability of 2000 boys and 4 hostel for girls of total accommodation capability for 700 girls. Apart from the newly build hostels all others hostels are pretty average with very less canteen/cafeteria eating options. But the new hostels are well equipped with fully automatic laundry machines and well ventilated decent size rooms.

Pretty helpful. They have email dl for Mnit alumnus where you can get all the details and events happening in the College for alumnus. College email id still gets accessible and hence people can be contacted even after you pass out. They do provide with an alumni card which helps you getting access to multiple college facilities like libraries play grounds even after you pass out.

Exam happens in three parts. 2 mid terms of 20 percent weightage each and 1 end term of around 40 percent weightage. Remaining 20 percent comes from internal grading. College follows relative grade scheme and you need minimum of 35 marks to pass the exam. Minimum Passing grade is D.

After completing 12th board you need to take the JEE exams. Combined score of 12th board and JEE mains will decide the AIR. If your rank is under 6000 you will get computer science branch. If your rank is around 12000 you can get metallurgy branch.

Faculty is very well trained and professional. Except for few young faculties who are still learning all other experienced faculties are well qualified and have a good command on the subject they are teaching.
