Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my keen interest on the research field the course curriculum prepares us for the research purpose for the testing teaching methods are good . The level of the exams are moderate
Fees and Financial Aid
The 1st semester fee for bsc (hons) biotechnology was 47000 second semester fee was 36000 . Admission fees was 7000 Scholarship are present as well like for the meritorious students and for the girl child and Uttarakhand domicile , also percentage of twelth standard , for unreserved categories. The total course fees is 228000
Campus Life
The overall experience is very good the campus life is great fest are conducted .and the freshers for newcomers during september the library makes students accessible to the wide variety of Book and the journals . The lab exposure is good as needed for the course . The different sports are conducted like cricket basketball kabaddi badminton and various extracurricular activities are involved in campus like poster making different compitition and conference are also held
Admission
I applied for DU but I chose this college over the other colleges because of the green Lusher campus because of the budget friendly fees I couldn't go to the college that I applied to because of the score that was needed the college admission is very simple the students should pass the inter school with 45%. exams are not needed for the entrance in this course
Faculty
The interaction between the faculty and the students is good faculty are very approachable and helps in guiding the students . Mentor mentee sessions are conducted in order for the students facing any queries. The exam system contains class tests of 10 marks ,self assessment, assignment given ,the mid sem exam which is of 50 marks and the end sem of 100 marks and the practicals of 30 marks
Night Life
There is not too much for the night life the students can hangout in the cafeteria the hostel students enjoy in the campus the college is far from the city so there are not too much hangout places around and outside the campus
