- The campus is very small the only place to sit is the Cafeteria.
- Network connectivity in the campus is very bad in the academic building your phone will get cell towers only on the 3rd floor, you'll suffer a lot on the ground, 1st and second floor, WiFi also not so good
- Hostel Condition is okayish, Room is decent, cooler is provided, ethernet is provided, but the Bathrooms is in very bad condition the water is also very bad for skin and hair.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are multiple tech oriented subjects throughout the whole course which gives youa very basic knowledge of the fields and which is somewhat fruitful in future, also for a tech enthusiast who wants to do something big he/she should choose this course as it is a professional and technical course which can be a great benefit to your career. As the tech industry is revolutionising day by day teaching methods should also have an upgrade and teachers should be more open towards students needs and expectations this would not only imporove the education culture this would also improve the teacher-student bond. The frequency and timings of exams are all accordingly very well set on the basis of their difficulty level students can study one night before and they can score well.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester. Name of Companies visited : Paytm, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and many more. Highest package offered was 35 LPA and the average package is around 4-6 LPA the profiles of the offer was mostly technical. 60-70% students get placed in both technical and non technical fields, during recession in 2023 students suffered a lot and most of them were unplaced. My plan after the completion of my degree is to go for off campus placement on the basis of my skills in the technical field.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Year 2023 BTech Fees(Per Year) : Rs. 1,11,306/- There's One Time Fees in first Year that is Security (Refundable) : Rs. 5,000/- Book Bank : Rs. 6,000/- Registration Fees : Rs. 1,000/- There's a Employability Enhancement Programme Fee (Per Year) : Rs. 5,000/- The total sums up to : Rs. 1,28,306/- (For First Year) From 2nd Year Onwards : Rs. 1,16,306/- I paid 1,28,306 to the college in my first year and then 8000 to AKTU for exam fees of 2 semesters. Then I have to pay 1,16,306 from 2nd year onwards to the college and 7-9 thousand every year to AKTU for the Exam. Exam fees is taken once per year and it is for 2 semesters. Students can avail UP Government Scholarship if they're citizen of UP and that's around 80 thousand per year. The Fees increased from the year 2024 and I guess it'll keep on increasing.
Campus Life
There's an annual Sports Fest called 'SPARDHA' which includes a lot of sports such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, chess, tug of war, kabbadi, races, basketball, and many more games, students of different branches compete against each other. Then there's an annual Cultural Fest called 'UDBHAV' which includes a lot of activities and lots of mini events from dance competition to singing competition, and mobile games tournaments, fashion shows, political debates, shayari and poetry events, etc. Both the events are typically held between April to June. Library has a vast range of books related to the courses and subjects it also has many magazines and newspapers in Hindi and English. The facilities is not so good as the academic building has 4 floors and the AC is only on the third floor, during summers we suffer a lot and we've complaint as well but there's no reciprocation from the higher ups. The only thing good about the sports is Billiards, TT and the Badminton court. No none of the social group is exist at present.
Hostel Facilities
You get a bed, study table with light, shelf, ethernet cable, cooler. The Bathrooms are too dirty as the basins and bathrooms are exactly opposite to each other and they're build on the same level so all the water is always spilled outside the bathrooms. Meal quality is decent but is not nutritious enough, your immunity and health will suffer a lot and you've to follow an extra diet to make up for it. If somebody wants to apply for Hostel they can submit the full fees in one time and then get the registration form and get admitted to the hostel. The locality is far better than hostel atleast living in a residential area would be far better than living in industrial area, you would have places to visit to in night and you can also go with your friends and roam around for a bit to reduce your college stress.
Admission
I applied to a lot of colleges but I didn't got accepted because firstly I scored around 70-80% in my JEE and secondly I'm a general category student so I wasn't getting the brach of my choice, I chose this college as they were offering me branch of my choice and it is nearby Delhi so I have access to the two biggest IT Hubs of India which is Noida and Gurugram and it would be slightly easier for me to seek exposure. The exam accepted by college and most preferred by students is JEE Mains for admission. There are two admission process : 1. You can apply directly on the basis of your PCM Aggregate of 12th Standard and JEE Mains Percentile. 2. You can apply in the JoSSA counselling and then get this college.
Faculty
The faculty and student relationship is okayish, as like other colleges it's always the teachers favourites who get most priorities, the faculty is approachable but sometimes it's really gard to even conversate. The faculty which I liked was a teacher in my first year her name was Ms. Vanya Goel she teaches Electrical Engineering and she's very polite and decent with everyone also she was very focused and concentrated on each and every student and their performance individually, and due to her nobody flunked their semester exam in our class except 2-3 out of 50. There was one more tecaher in my first year and his name is Mr, Ajay Chauhan he's a very dedicated and disciplined tecaher, he's a strict teacher with strong moral and immense knowledge. I wouldn't name any I dislike there are few whom I still do but I wouldn't want to name anyone. So in a semester there are 3 internal exams two is sessional and the third one is ore university exam, sessional is of 45 marks and pre university is of 70 marks, sessionals are a bit easy compared to pre university as it's of only 2 Units and pre university comprises of 5 units of all subjects. There are many students who flunk their sessionals and PUT
Interview Experience
No there was no GD Round, Interview Question or Tests, My admission was purely based on my PCM Aggregate of 12th standard and JEE Mains Score, I walked in and got a direct admission most of the students follow the same procedure and few of the seats are filled through the JoSSA counselling.
Night Life
Gym is inside the college but the equipments are not so good and gym is rarely maintained or upgraded, there's only one cafeteria and usually you get bored sitting at the same place all the time, library is only open till 4:50 PM. You've to get inside the campus and hostel before 7:30 PM in the evening if you went outside somewhere. As I mentioned above inside the college the most famous spot is cafeteria and outside the college there are none in a 2KM Radius, the college is located in such a poor place it's in industrial area which makes it difficult for hosteller to access shops for their basic amenities, we have to walk 30 minutes to reach to the nearby residential area, there's is no shop provided inside or nearby the campus for us to shop for daily use essentials or medicines or anything, locality is safe but it's just industries everywhere and bad roads you would get tired of seeing such a place and would quit roaming.
