Washroom facility for girls can be more equipped and well-maintained
Library is in small area. It should be large and more books should be available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is relavant to the real life situation.It helps in taking decision in reality. As a student of literature i got many things while taking decisions through curriculum. I apply those things while living. Timing of exam and preparation is well planned. The exam is moderate.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For Sc candidates fees is 1000Rs and for open category it is 2000Rs except exam fees. Exam fees are around 500 to 600Rs.Overall 4000 is the fee structure for a year. Scholarships are available categorywise. As a SC student I got 6000Rs as a scholarship per year.

Campus Life

In the whole year many programs are held . Students only organize these programs under guidencr of teachers. Many books are available in the library. OHP and many other technical things are available in the classroom. My college is famous for sports. Many students has already got good ranking, prizes and many more in sports.

Admission

I had applied in both colleges i. e. Miraj Mahavidyalay and ACS college, Miraj. I got admission in both as i had good marks, But i chose Miraj Mahavidyalay because teaching faculty was very good. They have a healthy bond with the students.I confirmed my admission in the Miraj mahavidyalay. For admission students need to take brochure and fill up the form. After a few days we confirm the admission by paying the fees and other procedure. Here at the time of admission we get help . So it was a good experience.

Faculty

College faculties are very nice to the students. They help a lot to the students while studying and doing extra curricular activities. I studied in department of English. I got guidence of my teachers. They maintain healthy relationship with the student. There are two semesters in a year. Exam is moderate. Course curriculum is also relevant and easy to understand.

Night Life

Neaby hangout spot is Ambedkar udyan which was on walking distance. It was easy to visit it within the time. In the hostel there is a gym.Cafeteria is also available for the student. For girls hostel timing was till 7pm they cam stay out of it. For boys, it was 8pm .

The faculty really impressed me so it made learning about psychology even fun and easy to understand They used to have activities based on the current topic so that students get a grip of it in reality Other than that of psychology the other faculties were a little dull so maybe that can change There are 4 exams along the year 2 unit tests and 2 semesters unit being mcq's and sem being for subjective briefings

Wilson College: An Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Psychology which is why I opted for this course. Social psychology was especially very interesting to me. The curriculum is good when it comes to future prospects of giving competitive exams. However, it doesn't prepare you a lot for real-life applications as much. The course can definitely include more practical experiments which would make the subject more interesting. Better assignments/projects would also be beneficial. The exams were twice in a year. They weren't very difficult and easy to clear if one studied the portion well. However, I do feel that the exam pattern could be more application-based.
