Remarks

Positive remarks - amity will provide you with opportunities. the only thing you have to do is grab that opportunity.Teaching facility and faculties vary from department to department. Lab facilities are good and amity will provide you access to lab instruments. One positive thing about amity is amity will provide infine number of back exams for the students who fail to pass the exams. And if your ans is upto the mark you will definitely get good cgpa. Negative- The system of hostel is way too bad. amity provides back to back classes from 9.15-5.15 which sometimes become hectic for the students who are pursuing higher studies. The mess food is not upto the mark and I personally think having mess food is just a waste of money. Monkeys are very big problem in the campus of amity. many incidents occurred many people got injured due to tha monkeys but no one bats an eye on it

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is very hectic like in post graduation level you have to study all around ten or more subjects and you will have more than 5 practicals and other than main course you have to go for side course as well such as behavioral science , communication and foreign business language so I think the number of subjects should get reduced

Internships Opportunities

Yes our College offers internship but without any stipend and I think it's better not to perform internship from here because outside colleges internship hold much value. and may be they charge more amount. it depends

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunities varies from department to department. I don't know much about other departments but in our department BTech and Mtech students got the first priority. BSC and MSC students don't have much scope but yes placement are provided for them as well

College Events

5

Amiphoria Sanghatan Lohri Janmashtami And many more People who are hostelers get extra advantage as most of the events are performed by the hostelers and after college hours are over. Events are kind of escape from the busy schedule

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think fee structure is somewhat expensive. and for middle class students studying in amity is like you are spending a lot of money so you have to gain a lot as well. The fee should get reduced I think.

Fees and Financial Aid

Amity provide scholarship for students if you have round about 85-90% marks during the admission. and in amity if you score more than 9(or the highest marks) cgpa among 30 students you will definitely get scholarship. Amity directly don't provide any kind of loan facilities but as far as I assume it has strong bond with axis bank

Campus Life

4.5

Amity provides chances for extracurricular activities but the thing is due to the hectic schedule and the study pressure students hardly get any time for activities. attendance is the must factor due to which students face a lot of trouble they can't enjoy much because you have to keep an attendance of 75% in total otherwise you won't be allow to sit for the exams

Hostel Facilities

3

I would like to rate the hostel infrastructure and facilities 6 out of 10. because the rules and regulations are way too bad. you are not allowed to have non veg in hostel premises and you have to finish your dinner within 9:30 pm.Moreover it's difficult for the students who stay in the fourth floor because there is no elevator facilities

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni programs are way too helpful. and in amity conferences are held about this.you will get a chance to talk about your problems and orientation day is being held each year in each department. Senior students are helpful if you go and contact them they will definitely make you aware about what's going on in amity

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not good.like it says semester exams and according to semester exams each exam should held at an interval of six months but in amity exams are held at an interval of 3.5- 4 months so students Don't get much time for studies and amity don't provide any kind of exam leave

Admission

First you have to apply online you have to register yourself. Search amity admission Lucknow and you will get an application form where you have to choose your area of interest and the form costs around 1000/- (biotechnology department). hopefully it is same for all the department

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of my department ( biotechnology) are good and very helpful. to be honest faculties are very friendly and they are always there for the students. and you can always get the support of the faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Msc.Biotechnology is a good course. The laboratory aspect has pushed me a bit to make the decision. Curriculum makes us academically good but not good for real world. College laboratory needs improvement in terms of installation of proper laboratory equipments. Teaching skills & class control methods needs improvement. Teaching should be made more industry based and practical based. Exam pattern is good, not very easy to pass, have to work hard to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to study psychology in clinical setting in future. I am interested in therapies and diagnosis but currently I'm focusing on counselling. There were 6 sections of masters in psychology with a ratio of 60 students each class. The faculty was NET qualified and some were doing their PHD along with teaching. The teaching methods was nice as we had access to technology as well like projectors. The material provided to us was really good for our future reference. Exams were held every six months and the difficulty level of exams were moderate.
