Likes

Giving more practical knowledge rather than theoretical.
Sessions are occurring to enhance skills

Dislikes

Attendance is mandatory no one is allowe for exam who have attendance less than 75 percentage
College time is from 9.15 to 5 o' clock. It is too long
Fees structure are not affordable for every one.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is not so vast . There are only 5 units in every subject to learn and exam conducted in every month based on the 2 units for 15 marks called as CAE . Students can crack exam just before 3,4 days of studying.

Internships Opportunities

There is internship apportunity in every last 6 months of the final year to every subject.they can be paid or unpaid. It's totally depends on our skills . Students can apply internship certification to gate a good job

Placement Experience

Placements are good means average. Many students are placed in our college to many companies like Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc. for package of 5 to 10 LPA per annum. From computer, IT branch many students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for every category student is different like for category student fees are from 20 to 21 thousand and for general category fees are 170000 per annum and for open category student fees are 76 thousand per annum scholarship are provided to category student only and those who have income less than 8 LPA.

Campus Life

Campus is small compared to other engineering colleges. Because no longer area covered by the college but outside the college there are various facilities like cafe . Students can spend there time with friends at there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel provide various facilities like security, food , water, gym , indoor and outdoor games ahe also available for refreshment. There are 4 girls in every room of the hostel . Ik every month meetings are occurring to complete about anything which we didn't like.

Admission

I choose this college because placement of the college are good. Many students are placed from our college in various companies like Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc The highest package is 45 lacs from the off campus placement.

Faculty

Faculties are average no so good but they are helping students to improve skills focused on the practical knowledge According to Information technology faculties more focused on the development and codes , programming,etc.

Night Life

It is nice because there are many cafes , hotels are available in the outside of college many students are spending there time at there . And enjoy the nightlife with the lots of friends. So the overall night life is good.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
