Course Curriculum Overview
For B.Sc physics, the main topics include the basics of quantum mechanics, electrodynamics etc. For those who are opting physics for higher studies will greatly benefit from this syllabus. Practical topics are also there . Both theoretical and practical exams are held during each semester. The difficulty level is medium only .
Internships Opportunities
There are very less internship opportunities available for students along with the course. Projects are done with the selected subjects by the students and done internally from the college. Students who are interested can do project outside and can submit reports also .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are for semester exams and books. There are no other fees taken. Tution fees are very less which we pay during admission.( Around 2k ) Exam fees are collected before each semester exams. Scholerships are available for OBC, SC, ST classes. Management fees are more for taking seats.
Campus Life
The campus life is so great in this college. Every month some event will occur in the college and annual event is celebrated in big scale with lots of cultural programmes and celebrities. OZORA, MCC CARNIVAL were some of the famous fests conducted by this college NSS, NCC are the other activities/ organisation students can join. Where you will get grace marks for your achievements and works in the organisation. Sports are greatly promoted in the college. The college is equipped with badminton court, cricket area and a football ground. Gymnasium is also open for students.
Admission
This college is one of the biggest, oldest, famous colleges in Calicut. It's NAAC accredited college and it is famous for its remarkable alumini also. The eligibility for different courses is different and there is a cutoff mark that is required to get admission for each course. There is no specific exam for getting admission here. Only your school grades are enough.
Faculty
Students can approach faculties any time for clearing any doubts. For 50 students , there are 6-7 teachers. 6 semesters are there and minimum attendance of 75% is compulsory for writting the exams in each semester.
Night Life
The gym , canteen , library and all the public areas will be closed by 6 pm. But the students can stay in the campus with permission for late night activities if there is any. Campus timing is usually from 9 am to 4pm. There is old block , chapel area, green wall area and canteen for hanging out with friends inside the campus. There are many cafe's , beach, gardens etc within 5 km radius from college.
