Practically knowledge is not provided to students they only taught us theoritical part
College is in interior so we have to take an private taxi to reach to college
No sports related activities held in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in electronics and communication and there was a boom in this field in those days so i choose ece Curriculum does not help me in real world applicatoln Area of improvement student must be provided with practical knowledge Exam were conduct in semester in every 6 months yearly

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is someway around 100000rs without hostel and with hostel it was around 170000rs Yes scholarship was offered to sc st students and some toppers of university gets benifits of these scholarship

Campus Life

My overall exprience was nice there me and my friends enjoy alot there our college life is tough as we have to study hard to pass in examination I compitted in every event in college festival A cricket tournament was organised every year

Admission

At that time it was a renowned college and produce good engineering student there were proper labs amd equipements for labs and there were technicians who give us knowlegde about those epuiments. And climate and location of my college is wonderfull

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good we have professors for every subject and they were proficient in there work And they were approcable for us Teacher i like the most was mrs. Amrita Teacher i did'nt like was mrs.shally We have to pass in 48 subjects throughout our degree and exam is tough in nature have to study hard

Night Life

There is no night life in my college we just gather there and roam here or there as my college is situated around forest there is no scope of party in night aur we can go somewhere Hangout places were nepali dhaba mid point zero point

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Are you looking for Affordable and Peaceful place for your Technical study
