Course Curriculum Overview
I feel the courses are outdated, we are learning about technologies that existed 20 years ago. The courses here do not make us ready for real world applications. The exams here are quite easy and we have one exam every 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
No companies offer internship opportunities to the students, We barely get companies for placements. We do get to do lots of projects and lab practices as part of our course. We're also informed about opportunities by the teachers.
Placement Experience
The placements at my college arnt that great very few companies visit our campus and very few students get placed , 3lpa is the average package of my college. Most students get places at Wipro and infosys. I plan of studying law after graduating from here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 45k rs, the registration fees was 2670rs and the exam fees is 900rs There are no additional fees for library and labs Vivekananda College of arts science and commerce offers government scholarshipsnfornsc st students
Campus Life
The campus life is very boring, therse nothing much to do here, students are even forbidden from bringing phones. Our college doesn't host any technical fest l, though we dy have an annual college day at the end of every year. Every classroom is fitted with projectors and the library has ever book and journal need for the courses thought at our college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is quite big and has all the facilities needed. It has a mess which provides food to the students. The meals are decent in taste. The hostel costs 60k a year. Multiple students stay in a single room and students from every year stay at the same hostel.
Admission
I had applied to Dr harisingh gaur vishwavidyalay for the Ba Llb course but couldn't travel to bhopal and had to join here. The admission process of our college is very simple, youbjust have to come to the respective departments and ask for the admission form and fill it out.
Faculty
The faculty members are well versed in their fields and many of them have phds There are 3 exams conducted every semester, 2 internals and one semester exam, the exams are quite easy and most of the students pass the exam
Night Life
There are no hangout spots at our college and no late night activities. The classess start at 9 in the morning and end at 4 in the evening. Our college has no gym and cafeterias, just a small canteen in the corner. The locality is very safe to roam around at night.
