Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure and the content/ the skills it provide make me deside to choose this course. But after joining i understand that the curriculum is not important but self learning and external knowledge is more important. I would like to suggest the curriculum to be improved with upcoming technology and should update it constantly to improve the curriculum. The exams are difficult and each semester exam is conducted on regular intervals of y months

Internship opportunities at RIST include companies like TCS,Wipro and infosys.roles offered are in software development and civil engineering.stipends vary.projects involve coding, data analysis, and infrastructure planning.

3

Capus life at rist is vibrant with festivals like techxpo and cultural festivals held annually.the library of us range books.class rooms are well occupied.clubs like IEEE and nss enhanced student life, and sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel provides basics facilities like beds, study table, wifi, and 24/7 security.meals are average, with limited menu options.hostel registration is easy and affordable.rented rooms near campus are budget friendly and safe

Admission

I didn't applied to other colleges because I trusted this words of this management....I must get admission in other colleges but it's my fate to studied under this management....they are not provide enough stuffs for the students

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is 1:6 There is 2 internal examination and a optional internal exam for those who are not get the average internal marks for semester exam... The internals are easy but most of the students failed in it

Interview Experience

3

Yes I did.....they said they will give all the necessary things for us....but they didn't give anything...they don't give a shot when ask for these stuffs.....and they are only interested for asking money

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
