Likes
- Not just the fun events but even educational events are organised every now and then.
- A special library called the spiritual library has been built and a yoga centre too and it is available to students for free.
- Guest lectures by dignitaries of law are organised in our auditorium every month.
Dislikes
- Too strict attendance and that's seriously the saddest part about of our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum has left no peripheral to be honest. From Muslim law board to investment law, if not in main subject it can be chosen through electives. So, our course is capable in making somebody a complete lawyer whether they chose to become a criminal lawyer or a civil lawyer, our college has produced both.
Internships Opportunities
From hospitals to some corporate houses, and most importantly the litigation firms like DSK Legal, Bharucha, Wadia Gandhy and many others offers internships. Our college also give recommendation letters to intern in high courts and all.
Placement Experience
From fourth year, students have completed 6-7 internships and that's give the employers a fair idea and that is how placements happen from our college. Top private law firms are the major ones that provides jobs and some corporate houses too include some freshers in their already existing legal team.
Fees and Financial Aid
At MAIMS fees is higher than DU colleges as it's a private college. The fees still is much lower than NLUs as MAIMS cost me around 1.2 lakhs a year. Unfortunate though as most scholarships are for Delhi students but still Beti Padhao is applicable for all girls where girls get 10% scholarship every year.
Campus Life
Our campus is quite big and also not very far from Rithala metro station. Our college has five canteens and three large auditoriums and the ground is set as centre stage during events. From stand up comedians to singers all have performed during our annual fest NAVITAS.
Admission
CLAT gives opportunity to apply in as many colleges and first choice for law students is always the NLUs. Top NLUs accepts top 1500 students and since i was not in that list, I decided to chose the best private college in Delhi and by far it's MAIMs and thus i took admission here as my CLAT score was good enough to get admission in MAIMs.
Faculty
Our faculties changes radically to make sure they improve students daily as studies need improvement and if doesn't reflect in results, it usually curses the faculties. Our faculties though will never be cursed any any student of our college as we all know how far they go when it comes to detailed discussion of a topic.
Night Life
Pizza is my favourite food and we have Dominos as well as a reasonable food or pizza corner names Pizza Cutter. MOJO Pizza and Bluetick Cafe are also nice options. The latter is best for starters and is opened till 1 am.
