Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum even though is very new but is fantastic. From the very first semester it never felt like a burden. Yes, it's not the easiest of the curriculum but it always feels like a challenge rather than a burden when we are doing this curriculum.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's quite affordable. The admission fees was around Rs.6000 and semester wise we have to give Rs.1400 before the end semester exams. This basically has been the fees structure if I am not mistaken with anything.
Campus Life
I have had a good campus life. In my university students are really friendly and open to each other. I love playing sports and because of sports I was able to gain a lot of friends from different departments.
Admission
My top preference was to go to Delhi University but I was unable to pursue the BA Economics (Honours) course there because I wasn't eligible for the course in DU. My second preference was Cotton University because it's the best university in the state of Assam and I am from Assam.
Faculty
The faculty is quite engaging, they try their very best so that we understand all the topics well. They think about everyone of us and go at such pace so that everyone understands the topics well. They also give us the freedom to ask questions in the class leaving no doubts behind.
Interview Experience
No, not really. I just had to give the CUET examination for the admission in the cotton university. I studied from different channels of youtube and also focused mainly on self study for the CUET exams.
Night Life
I am a day scholar. But I am someone who is no less than a hosteler as I am someone who stays in the campus until the library is closed, i.e. around 10 pm. Also we have different stalls near the campus which provide good food. Also there are various places for us to visit near the campus like ropeway, brahmaputra heritage park, etc.
