My college has Excellent Infrastructure, Excellent Teaching, Very Good Learning Environment, Very Good LAB facilities, Encourage Extracurricular activities and Co curricular activities, also given importance to SPORTS.

JNTUH course curriculum divides 4 years engineering into 7 semesters, 1st year - 1 semester, 2nd,3rd, 4th years has 2 semesters each. Each semester has 6 subject and 5 units in each subject. My opinion on this curriculum is this classification makes students easier to learn subject more.

My college doesn't provide internships but supports to do internships. I have did internship on POWER PACK OF LOCOMOTIVES at DIESEL LOCO SHED, south central railway, moula-ali, secunderabad. There willl be no STIPEND provided either by college or by industry

out of 60 students in each class, 40 to 50 students are placed. MGIT has following departments : Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy , Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, Information Technology. Placements and job opportunities are more for, CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical compared to other branches.

In every academic year events celebrated are Magistech in 1st semster and Flash mob, Sports Fest, Nirvana in 2nd year. Magistech consists of Technical events of each department. Sports fest consists of competition between all departments in both Indoor and Outdoor games. Nirvana consists of Technical and Non-Technical events along with food stalls and interesting games, and DJ Fest on last day of Nirvana.

Tution fees is expensive around 1 Lakh to 1.6 Lakh per year. For a middle and low class families it is difficult to have admission for there child in this college. But for OBC and SC/ST students Reimbursements are provided by government.

Students who score Eamcet rank below 10000, will have full fee reimbursements provided by the government. For OBC student whose eamcet rank is above 10000 , will have 35000 fee reimbursement and remaining fee must be paid by the student.

Extracurricular activities like Basket ball, Dancing, Singing, and so on are conducted and encouraged in college. My college has Basket Ball court, Cricket ground, volley ball court, Shuttle court, Table Tennis court, and all other indoor games. My college has very good lab facilities.

I am not an hosteler. But according to my friends who stay in hostels infrastructure is very good provided good food and shelter and study hall. Idont know much about Hostels because i am not an hosteler.

Every year Alumni meet is conducted. Alumni who are placed attend "Alumni meeting'' and share there experience in the college and there experience in Companies/Industries in which they are working and Motivate Students.

In each semester there will be 2 Internal mid exams- 25 marks and 1 External (Final) exam-75 marks. Each semester has 6 subject with 5 units each and 2 to 4 labs. Internal Exam - 10 marks (2 questions), 10 marks (Objective), 5 marks (Assignment). External Exam - 50 marks (5 questions) and 25 marks(10 questions).

I have written EAMCET exam and got good rank in the Exam. Based on the EAMCET rank obtained admissions to the engineering colleges takes place through counselling. In Counselling i have opted a list of colleges in which MGIT is one of them. JNTUH allots students to colleges based on EAMCET rank and Inter Percentage. I was allotted to MGIT.

Faculty in my college are able to control class and commencement of classes is regular and have very good subject knowledge and makes every student to understand the subject. My opinion is very good teaching staff.
