Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teachers while teaching give real life examples of the actual world and make us aware of the legal happenings and we stay updated about various things There should be more court visits apart from this . And the exams should be concluded in minimum time so that we get enough time to study

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee I paid for the first year is 45081 and it will keep increasing over the years. All the categories have to py the same fee except, the self finance students have to pay around 181000. There are no scholarships as such.

Campus Life

4

The most interesting annual programme is 'Display your talent' which is quite interesting and students from all over the campuses and colleges under Jammu University can participate Apart from this sports are also paid attention to

Hostel Facilities

4

All the facilities are provided in the rooms There are proper fans, but air conditioner facilities are unavailable in the hostels But the hostels are quite affordable I stay in a hostel and my overall experience is quite good Meals are perfect, the mess fee is 1100 per month and the food served is also delicious

Admission

I chose this college as it was the nearest from where I could pursue my law degree. I don't apply for other colleges so there was no chance to face rejection. Admission process is based on CUET score

Faculty

5

The faculty is highly qualified and there are enough professors. I don't dislike anyone, everyone is the best and give their best in everything. Exams are conducted twice a year and they are quite good and suitable for the students

Interview Experience

5

Yes there is an exam CUET (Common University Entrance Test) through which we get admission and the selection is on the basis of merit as there are limited seats. 2 subjects are considered for law i.e General Studies and Legal Studies

Night Life

4

There are various Nescafes in the campus where we can hangout Also the hostels are quite good, hygienic and the food served there is quite delicious The campus timings are 9AM to 5 PM Also there is a library named Dhanvantari Library which provides all the facilities for studying

The curriculum is pretty relevant in my opinion. With tha changing political landscape it's necessary that we have capable law men. However the exams are too frequent. The syllabus completion barely touches the mark.
