Course Curriculum Overview

I did choose this course because I wanted to study law. There are about 125 students and 6 subjects. Some teachers are PhD holders while few of them only have masters in a specific subject. Teaching method is quite old school and not satisfactory

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for two semesters is about thirty five thousands (35000) plus the exam fee for per semester is more the 2 thousand . Only nsp scheme is being offered to the students. Financial assistance is nil plus no campus jobs are there.

Campus Life

No annual fest or tech fest is conducted. Life is very boring in the campus. Library is there . Classroom is very boring . No sports or extra curricular activities on the campus .. no social group , club or website run by the students

Admission

Entrance exam Is held by kashmir University in Srinagar. Thousands of students fill application form online and pay fees online on the ku portal. Then the selection list gets uploaded and first 60 to 70 gets selected in the main Kashmir University campus other students are being referred to other private colleges

My course is BALLB and my college provides parents theory and practice often feel visits to Police stations and quotes. Our college also provides us the guest lectures and workshops in which the experts from legal background come and educate us about the laws and the implementation of law We also have more quotes and mock trials itself in our college.

The curriculum is pretty relevant in my opinion. With tha changing political landscape it's necessary that we have capable law men. However the exams are too frequent. The syllabus completion barely touches the mark.

I took the BA LLB entrance test which was not so easy nor very difficult but the average cut-off was 23 out of 60 for the general and the cut-off for the obc was 13 for st, sc it goes down to 8,9.
