"Life in IMSEC"

Course curriculum is quite relevant but I believe that there is some more practical than theories. University needs to understand that BTech is a practical degree. We learn the basics and concept of that particular topic but not understand where and how these concepts are applicable.

There is no. If companies like IBM and many more provide internships and training as well to students. It provides completion certificate and projects to students to work on it. Students also attend various workshops and seminars in the college to upragade their thinkings and get guidance to the experience ones.

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Accenture,Adobe, KPMG , Amazon, cognizant and many more companies visit for campus placements drive. The highest package company offers is 50LPA and average package is of 6LPA. Imsec provides 95% assured placement.

Hey... Our college fees is 137000 for first year, 123000 for second year, 127000 for third year and 125000 for fourth year for btech courses in all branches. Imsec also provides two scholarship i.e. Up scholarship for students who take admission cia direct or by counselling. Another one is pragati scholarship which is only for girls where only there is only two girl child in a family and have good score in 12th class... Both the scholarships provide upto Rs.50000 annually.

In imsec there are many events and fest held. Firstly in the starting of year, Fresher's (Prarambh) held in the month of November-December. No. Of activities and competition held in fresher's. Then in the month of January-February a winter event is held where students organised stalls and sell items etc. This is very interesting and skill boosting events. Then in the month of May an annual fest that is VIBGYOR will be held. This fest is of two days in which many competitions were held where all year students showcase there talent in different fields. And on the next day there is award distribution ceremony and celebrity DJ night. In the month of August-September a technical fest i.e. technical fest will be held where another colleges can also take part in it.

Honestly, I also applied in Abesec and akgec but they both doesn't provide me the course that I wanted i.e. Btech in CSE -Aiml. Also they don't provide us any scholarship. So I chose this college over others. In imsec, admission process is simple. Students with percentage in 12th class above 65% is eligible to take admission here. Fir getting branch like CSE or their specialization you need to have more than 85% in 12th class. JEE mains and CUET exams are accepted here. The overall admission experience is good as the administration cell is quite nice to everyone.

In imsec faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Faculty to student relationship is quite amazing as they support us , educate us and also guide us for future decisions. There is 2 Class test and 1 Pre-University Test in each semester according to which internal marks of the student evaluated. The ratio of fail students to pass students is about 1:6. The exams pattern is moderate and designed with respect to course curriculum and previous year questions.

No I don't face any group discussion or interview or any written test for the admission. It will be done only on the basis of your entrance examination score or your on the basis of your merit. The process is quite simple.

In imsec campus, Nescafe is a hangout spot, canteen where everything will be available. Imsec have great library with number of books for every student of every interest. In hostel, a gym for boys and girls separately are also provided. The timings of campus is from 8:50 to 4:30.
