Course Curriculum Overview
According to me, exams are quite easy, I'm just working on sincerely in my studies too. I currently have a CGPA of 9.24( 2nd semester). So it's basically quite easier. The course structure is heavily complex but easier to catch up once you start, life at amrita would be simple as that.
Internships Opportunities
We got some internships from dabur and some more internships to do it in abroad too. As if we are currently now entering 4th semester, we would have offerings for internships from different business sectors.
Placement Experience
From 4th semester, students become capable for applying for small jobs in the fields of business and can start internships from 2nd semester itself. Amrita has connection with top companies and recruiters come directly to college to pick members.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly the non scholarship fees might be Rs 1,50,000 per year. I pay Rs 1,12,000 yearly under slab 3 merit option. There are totally four slabs and the 4th slab would be non scholarship fees. And an amount of Rs 2,000 is collected as caution deposit from the University. BBA requires no other fees collected than this amount and sometimes we ought to pay for some kind of extra courses opted by the department or any cultural fests participation. Yearly the fees changes and each and every students opting for placing here would have any of the four slabs according to the marks you scored in AEE
Campus Life
Class room environment as well as college environment is good. There are lots of clubs and events associated with specialised departments or maybe other than that too. Vidyut is one among the multifest function conducted in our university.
Hostel Facilities
Room contains separate cabins for the each member and storage facility under bed and attached bathroom with dressing room facility. Food is comparingly ok and pg is also available nearby and surrounding the campus.
Admission
Actually the first college I applied is Amrita. Amrita is one among the top private universities with NAAC A++ rating. I've done my 12th in Amrita Vidyalayam, slowly I came to know regarding the university (not influenced by amrita vidyalayam faculties), slowly I started surfing internet for informations. My second option was Krishna College in coimbatore but fortunately I got seat in Amrita
Faculty
Studying is important than catching up with club events. Exams are pretty easy to crack and pass. Each and every faculty in BBA department are quite good and interactive. But all the facilities from the CIR department should be given special rewards, as they are those who maintain a friendly and caring relationship with all the students and provides facilities accommodating studies.
Interview Experience
Actually I wrote an AEE ( Amrita entrance examination) in the first hand and attended an interview regarding my capacity testing to opt this course. I faced little difficulty in the entrance examination. Non scholarship seat is also available.
Night Life
There are gyms, cafeteria, canteens inside our hostel (lol). As a hosteller you are not supposed to enter hostel within 5.30pm. So you can enjoy everything within 5.30pm and there is obviously Amma's ashram to roam and 15th floor view would be awesome with sea backwaters besides ashram. The beach view will be mesmerizing and best hangout with friends would be Azheekal beach.
