Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course (B.tech in CSE) from ITS Engineering College from Greater Noida because they have very HighTech labs like- MacOs Lab,AWS Lab,IBM Lab,Linux Lab and many big tech labs ,they also have NewGen Lab which is creating new ideas and implementing them .The college provides Training program in 2nd,3rd and 4th year .Every month the college host events based on technologies like last month they invite IEEE (CSE and ECE) conference ,which was wonderful and it was for 2 Days for both the branch.

Placement Experience

4

The eligiblity for campus placement is starting from 5th semester. Many companies visit in our college like TCS,HCL,Tech Mahindra,Ultra Tech and Startup companies.Last year the highest placement was 49L and average was 3-4L. The percentage of students got placed was 60-70%.My plan after getting the degree is to get placed startup companies as a software Engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

ITS Engineering College Fee Structure (2023) For General/OBC the fee was Rs.135000 per year for SC/ST the fee was Rs.120000 per year One time adimission fee-Rs.125000 Hostel Fee - for 3 seater(Rs.95000 per person) and for 2 seater (Rs.104000) for AC (Rs.130000)

Campus Life

4

The Infrastructure is good but the playing ground is very small as compared to other colleges. The college organize fest like Y2Flow ,Udghosh and many more. The library is good as they have good number of books and they good number of space to study (9AM to 8PM) with AC facility.Sports facilities is very poor ,as the ground is very small to play. There are many social group of college run by students on Instagram ,Facebook,Linkedin and youtube.

Hostel Facilities

4

They provide room cleaning once in a week (Sunday).Meal quality is very poor , sometimes they cook tasty and most of the time they cook poor.Menu gets change every 2 months.Localities to get rented room/PG are Beta 1,Beta 2 (Best) or near JagatFarm.

Admission

I choose this college because of its location which is nearest to my City.Because Noida is a developing city and comes under Delhi NCR.The location of this college is in the main area and this college is affiliated to AKTU , which is a Government University and many of my relative have completed their Graduation. So, I choose this college for B.Tech in Computer Science.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is moderate because sometimes student don't want to interact with faculty and sometimes the faculty dont want to interact with students.Till now (2nd year) most of the faculty I like because they try to encourage their students which is good .The college conduct ST1,ST2 and PUT ,the level of exam is moderate but not easy to score marks. Mostly number of student got Back in their final Exam because the final paper comes difficult and the paper checking is moderate .

Night Life

4

The GYM facility is quite good and cafeterias is average(GYM timing 5AM to 8AM / 5PM to 8PM).The Library is overall good (Timing- 9AM to 8PM).Public area is most of the time busy.Hostel timing is 5AM to 10:30PM and Campus timing is 5AM to 10PM.At night we roam around the other colleges area like Accurate,Sharda and NIET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
