Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum covers essential topics such as healthcare management, hospital administration, health policies and financial management in healthcare settings, including. the industry relevant skills with the training modules, case studies and intensive equipes focusing on the emerging trends courses on digital health calibration and healthcare analytics are also been provided by our college. but regarding the practical orientation internships and minor project and case studies are also been there with realistic world cast scenarios which helps develop critical thinking and problem surface skills essentially for effective management and for the updated quotes, material currently in 2025 regular updates to course contents to deflect the latest trends and technologies, healthcare can enhance the relevance furthermore for the students

Internships Opportunities

2

I have been there for the intensive from July 2024 to 31st August, 2000 and 24 which was in Delhi, Gurgaon. In Medanta Hospital, but the hospital and the campus didn't give us the stipends. And I have to bear an amount of rupees 2 lakhs for two months on my own. Yeah, they provide a good intensive opportunities, but the. placement cell is not good enough to invest. on they are providing companies like like Apollo Medanta, Max Fortis. Many of the students are getting the pre- placement offer. But the pre placement offer from this college is also very low. It is around 15,000 somewhere. It is 18,000 approx. the college do not offer any of the Stipends. May be some other departments like BSc in travel and tourism those who are in hotel management department they are getting some stipends but as a hospital management intern we did not got any stipend and after you reach the hospital the college authority also don't take the responsibility that whether the student is OK or not whether the student is having a good place or not because they don't provide any rents and all they just contact with the company and the company sent the dates and the student is going for the internships and the college is not responsible for the mishap of any of the students.

Placement Experience

1

The condition of the placement in my college is. pathetic because in 2000 and 25 the companies like Medanta came. Yeah, the companies are coming, but no salary hikes are there. Some. students are going to Medanta. They are having a salary of rupees 16,000 per month in a area like DelhiGurgaon, which is useless. See after the 5th same, the students are eligible for the campus placement if the student have any backlog, he or she might not be eligible. But that particular students will have to come back to the campus to keep the practical and the theoretical examinations and the highest package for this year is only 2 lakhs, which is offered by some it. company over here and the person. age of the students getting placement is only 5 to 10 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to start my own business to enjoy my life, to enjoy my capabilities, my and to improve my pros and cons.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure and scholarship details for the BBA in Hospital management course at Nshm Knowledge Campus, Durgapur, are outlined Below year wise. fee structure. for. BBA in hospital management is. 425,000.Which includes various components like - Tuition Fees is - 3,75000, Admission fee is 50,000 (One Time ). Regarding Scholarships NSHM knowledge Campus Durgapur supports students which include - Merit Cum Scholarships like SVCM .

Campus Life

3

Yeah, Overall experience for me, it's quite good because I have learnt many things coming in this campus reaching out new faculties, meeting new peopl day by day, having a conversation with them. Keep growing in some situations which is very much unfavorable to me. The range. and the accessibility of the books available in the libraries are quite good, but not updated right now. And every year our college campus. hosts BLITZ festival, which is in the month of February. The faculties are technically sound, but they are not technically advanced .The classrooms are not well maintained and and it's as well because it seems like that you are entering in a room which was painted a long time back. Yeah, the room got projectors and a white Board, but it is not applicable in the generation of 2025 .Extracurricular activities like sports, basketball, volleyball, table tennis are there. Indoor games like chess, gym and caramport are also been there. So I am very much happy. as well as unhappy with this type of career. life. But yeah, I can succeed. This is the thing.

Admission

I choose the college because the fee structure of this college is way too much low. And due to the excellence of over more than 25 years, drawn my attention towards this college But in current scenario, I am facing a huge problem regarding my placements as. no placement with more than 2,00,000 of package per annum is offered by this college. Currently, the scenario in 2025 Is way too pathetic as no more faculties are joining and all the good faculties are leaving from this college. No experienced faculties are there. All the faculties were experienced just left in the year 2024. And the CRTT Department, which is the corporate relations and talent transfer department, is kind of useless because they are not offering more than this package mentioned above. And I choose this college just for the purpose of 25 years of experience. Yeah, I just applied for different colleges, but regarding experience, this college is way too high. Now, the admission process of the college is that you have to pay something around 50,000 rupees. for the admission fees and the course curriculum structure for BBA in hospital management is something around 4 lakhs. They will provide you a official mail id. for each and every students, as the college is MAKAUT affiliated, you have to pay rupees 1200 every semester as a semester fees, which I think is not a good way to spend the money. As I already have paid the fees to the college authority during my admission. Yeah, every student wants a good salary package, a good development in their carrer. But currently I have been into the internships to the Medanta hospitals, but the internship was Unpaid. I have to burden myself with 2,00,000 rupees during my intensive while I was staying in Delhi for only just 2 months and none of the amount was paid by the college.

Faculty

2

The faculty members of Nshm knowledge campus is favorable allowing for personalized attention and support. The institution employs over 280 faculty members, which helps maintain a conductive learning environment. The faculty to students relationship are generally approachable and supportive, but not in every cases. Notably, Some faculty members, is very well known for us and the true inspiration for us. But the presence scenario, there are no experience faculties for the students to help and to guide for the future generations. The BBA in hospital management is structured to provide a plent of theoretical knowledge and practical skills Regarding curriculum relevance, the course curriculum is designed to be relevant to current industry standards, ensuring that students are well prepared for carriers in health care management. And the exam frequency is thrice s a year as nshm knowledge campus is MAKAUT affiliated.

Interview Experience

5

During the GD session, I have been asked situations based question. And in the introductory phase, the topics which were test is all about hospital, rural health, public health, medicine, pharmacology and the current market scenario of the health care sector. But during the interview, as usual, it starts with the introduction of the candidate and slowly, slowly it is proceeding to the questionnaire which is prepared by the external authorities of any of the colleges. accordingly, each and every student has been graded As per their capabilities and the answers they gave. in the interview sessions. I find it very much qualifying and challenging Because it gave me exposed to new topics, new people and how to. interact and how to set making gestures and the ability to understand and react upon the situations for. this purpose I am very much grateful to my college faculties and authorities because they guided me so well.

Night Life

5

Outsiders are not allowed in the campus after 7:00 PM. in the evening, one cafeteria is there. Gym is there, but only insiders can use after 7:00 PM. Library is there, which is not updated, but yeah, very, very well maintained And many books are there. The public area for the closing of is from morning 7:00 AM to night. 9:30 PM and for the hostel lights its 10:30 PM. The hostel timings is first 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM. the area of the campus is way to could many places are there to hang out to play and it is very much safe inside the campus to stay and hang out with friendship and the females are also being safe because the Nshm provide high quality security guards which is very much helpful and it is also has antiragging .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much encouraged about knowing how companies and buisness culture work .so there were many major aspects in my course where I can get those knowledge. All the carriculam activities and studies really helped me to understand the professional work culture and systems. I was able to manage human resource management and marketing management after completed my course. There are many area where course carriculam should be updated. If teachers can show some more practical work situation, analogy, some more presentation and theory which are currently relevant in every professional culture. Then it would have been much more impactful for students. And the frequency and timings were good enough to have a preparation for exams , good enough for nurture and revision to deal with any level of difficulty .

Students become eligible for placements in their last semester, i.e, after 5th Semester for us. The college gets good placements in Hospital Management. In the last placement cycle almost all the seniors got placed in reputable hospital. Mostly in Apollo Hospital, Delhi and Chennai, AIG Hospital, among others. Highest placement offered in the last placement cycle was of 9LPA to a MHA student and average placement is 5LPA. Around 90% students gets placed. Acter getting the degree I will sit for the College Placement Cycle and would aim to get placement at a reputable hospital with good amenities and salary and would also complete my MHA studies while working.
