SN COLLEGE, KANNUR

According to me it's the best college in Kannur in terms of overall results (academic, sports, arts).So I suggest this college for all who're looking for good campus life and a good carear. A small negative is that I doesn't have acres of land for campus.

Good curriculum as well as changing syllabus according to changes in economy and business patterns. Actually we have semester system but the working days are limited, teachers complete all portions by conducting special classes.

Actually our college doesn't provide internship, because it's an arts and science college. But I was part Additional Skill Acquisition Program conducted by the Kerala Government in our college. So I was able to study an extra course. I got internship for that without payment for 1 month.

Basically it is not a professional college providing placement drives.It is an arts and science college. But job opportunities are very broad for all. I'm doing Bachelor's in Commerce , it provide plenty of job opportunities.

There are many events celebrated in our college. Some of them are: Fine arts day Onam celebration Christmas celebration Holy celebration Election day programs College day Association day Union inaguration day Union end day celebration SN fest celebration National seminars Etc

Actually I was entered through merit so I just paid basic fees just like in government college.Management seats are expensive but cheaper comparing to other colleges with the same features.For bachelors management seat fee will be near or more than 1 lack, according to courses. For me , I just paid amount less than 5000 at the time of admission.

Many Aluminies are providing scholarship to students who are financially suffering. As well Govt scholarship can be availed for those who have merit. I got e grants for fee payment, so I got exemption from payment of university and semester fee.

Number one in sports at Kannur University. Best in sports support as well as arts too. Labs are available for students including computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, zoology lab, botony lab, microbiology lab.

Comparing to other colleges nearby it is best. But not really good. Iam not an hostler. Iam a day scholar. But my friends are staying in hostel,They told me that food is not good as well as basic infrastructure facilities only.

Yes. alumni events are conducted yearly, they provide scholarship to students as well as support college on many activities. They conducts alumni meeting on January 26 every year. As well as many events for helping students like scholarship programs, carear guidance seminars etc

Semester system is followed here, so university exams are conducted in every 6 months but before that two internal exams are usually conducted for internal valuation as well as many class tests are also conducted.

Through centralized admission process (cap) conducted by the university based on merits. First I applied through online in the university website by paying application fee. After that university released allotment list to those selected candidates , and I got selected on the first allotment.Then I took admission on the college on the date specified in the allotment slip.

We got good facilities in our department of commerce. They are really supporting in every aspects of our course. Actually the working days are very limited to complete the whole syllabus, so they conduct special classes for us.
