Remarks

The College is good and one of the best in the area and would definitely recommend if someone asks. This place is good if you want to know what College in kerala feels like.It has politics, sports, friendly people/staff.You will feel at home over here

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It's decent and cheap. The exams have no gaps in between but that is mostly due to the university and they need to start giving study holidays instead of rushing stuff if they want the students to get marks

Placement Experience

4

Well a lot of firms came to recruit people, but more than those other institution's came to advertise since we are just graduate students and post graduation remains. But that will get done soon too since time flies

College Events

5

The College celebrate's all kinds of festivals as well as their own celebration's like College day, annual day etc.It promotes the celebration of festivals and gives us holiday during these festivals too

Fee Structure And Facilities

It very cheap compared to other Colleges in citits etc, since this College is an aided College, the fees is actually very low and is always below 1000RS for a semester.Which is pretty cheap if you think about it(text book cost not included)

Fees and Financial Aid

The College offers a lot of scholarship's to the students. This is usually received by top of the class students where their entire tuition fees is exempted and exam fees is reduced to 10 or 100 rs at best.

Campus Life

3

Very good, the College has a sports department and it recruits anyone they feel will be good at sports and anyone who goes to them asking for a chance at a sport. The College has a really good record in the area.

Alumni/Alumna

We haven't heard about the alumini network but the seniors are really helpful and give us tips when they drop by at tines. They even give their old textbooks and tips to pass exams.they also tell us stuff from when they were still students.

Admission

Dad is an alumini so I got a little preference. The admission process lasted 3 days.Started with the submission of application, paying of fees(admission),meeting the teachers and them asking questions.

Faculty

4

They're decent and they are all qualified. They are so interested in teaching us that they don't even miss an hour and teach us every day.they help you out a lot if you are in need though, especially during exam time.

SES College Sreekandapuram, Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Computer Applications)
Reviewed on Jul 4, 2020(Enrolled 2017)

Admission:

I have chosen Bcom because my ambition is to become an accountant. I think it's nice and easy to study. The exams are conducted by semester wise (1 Sem=6 month) for 3 years. Before every semester exam, there will be a model exam. This course is divided into 6 semesters completing in 3 years. It is fair having enough time for preparation having 42 exams in 3 years. This course will give a good profession because there is a sea of changes in the IT field. Learning new programming code is better and easy.

Remarks:

St Teresa's college is one of the prestigious college in Ernakulam City. And also it provides numerous of opportunities for the students to exhibit their talents and also to find their own abilities and skills. That's the main reason for me to choose St Teresa's for my higher studies. In addition to that, in the year of 2019 St Teresa's has gained A++ in NAAC, which makes St Teresa's unique from the other colleges of Ernakulam.

Unwanted and Unnecessary interference of College Management in Government Funds is considered as one of the negative marks of our college. The utilization of PTA fund is not in an effective manner. Unnecessary Political Activities is another problem. Hon. High court of Kerala already banned political activities inside the college. But it can't be controlled deeply.
