What Students Say

Likes

College has great opportunities for developing Sportsmanship
Some faculties are good & are experienced which makes us to understand better
It has a decent library for students intrested in gaining knowledge

Dislikes

Some of the faculties are unexperienced and their teachings are hard to catch
They put fine on even the smallest and also on the things which they could forgive
For some reason I don't like the college very much

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the safe foundation cause it I have better future and more job opportunities and the faculty is directly give me a BCom admission the frequency and timings of the exams and the difficulties are okay compared to their level

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So my colleage fess is up to 28000 And my CA foundation course cost rupees 20000 and the exams are 1500 and the registration purpose cost rs.9000. And the students belong to special category in our class has got compensation for fees upto 10000 I didn't get any special scholarships

Campus Life

For some courses they have one fest for each course. That's accessibility of the books and generals available in the library are enough for students to study and the technologies facilities are good in my point of view. And sports and extracurricular activities are given less importance was students who are interested can use the equipments there

Admission

I didn't apply for many colleges girls there were less colleges in our area and most of the colleges were far from where we leave so we couldn't apply for many colleges. Since I didn't apply for many colleges I didn't get rejected from any of them

Faculty

Some of the faculties are very nice and the understand the students intention and try to make them better but saw the faculties are way to hard and they try to give punishment for even the mistakes we don't make . Like the income tax faculties and the GST are good but the HOD of the commerce department always try to scold us without any reason I think he likes to scold students without any reason that makes in happy

Night Life

Gym is rusty and even a single student wouldn't use it the equipments are less . The cafeteria's are okay the library is also good there are on telly hostel related to college and their is no such kind of interesting place to hangout in the college

Life Lessons, Friends & Academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course had many domains which was actually helpfull The labs were conducted on time and practicals were always give and the students can practice in their free time and they get study holidays and have lots of time to prepare for exam. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after 7th or 8th sem for placements. There are so many companies visit in our college... it's hard to list them but yeah... Highested package ever is i think 50LPA but I am damn sure it could be an offcampus stuff and average package is around 3-4LPA Percentage of students getting placed varies WILDLY with respect to department and as far as my department is concerned we are not doing too bad...around 60-65% My main plan after getting the degree is to first get a job on campus and pay up my education loan

In the begning of our 2nd year we had an orientation in which the HOD stated that almost 50-70 students from 6th sem were placed even before starting the 4th year and the highest package at the begning was nearly 40LPA

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements only from their 7th sem. Usually 200+ companies visit our college with offer of 900+. Almost 80 to 85 percentage of students get placed since the recession is on phase the rate is normal. My plan is to enter a semiconductor insustry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

Usually just after 3rd year that's 6th sem students become eligible for placements. But only few students who are exceptionally well in academic and skill wise who had experience in internships will get placed. Except others might have to wait for 4th year to get placed. And our college gets good and average placements which is okay. You just have to work little more. Except if u didn't get placed, there's still a chance you can try outside campus.

Bhandarkars' Arts and Science college Kundapura, Udupi has its own reputation in the society. It scored A rank in NAC. Comparing to other colleges here we get a very good teaching staff and also non teaching staff also very good. They treat every students equally.
