Likes
- I loved going to college everyday just to meet my friends. But apart from that the college faculty and the facilities were top notch. I always admired my senior lecturers because they shared their experience and knowledge with us very friendly.
- The labs were great I have used physics lab and computer science lab. They had all the apparatus required for experimenting. Our college was the only college in which every experiment was done systematically. Computer labs were included with Ac.
- There were programs like college day, farewell, talents day, library functions and so on that made us feel very included and entertained. Apart from studies co- curricular activities were great in our college
Dislikes
- The manager in our college was not that cooperative with students which we did not like.
- The procedures in office would take a lot of time and any issues were not resolved immediately but had taken more time.
- Other than that I loved my college and there was nothing to dislike
Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc in computer science is a great course for people who desires to aspire their career in IT fields. That's what I was thinking while joining the course. The theory and practical concepts were very useful as it prepared us for real world applications rather than just for marks purpose. Experienced teachers must be included more in the curriculum so that students can gain more knowledge about the subjects. Frequency and timings of exam was given by the board and it was sufficient enough to complete the exams within the given time.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college was good during my time. There were many companies coming to our college. There was also a job fair kept which was a huge success in our college. Percentage of people getting placements has gradually decreased during the course of years. I hope it will increase and the college will work on it. I have got the degree and placed in TCS from my college in campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per year the fees for my course in my college was 28000 for this year it has increased by around 2000. Exam fee was separately taken around 700 rupees. Other than ours BCA course fees is 40000. I have taken scholarships like nsp and ssp scholarships.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our college was great, there were two different blocks one for BCA and other one for the rest. There was indoor games for boys and girls separately. A large play ground for outdoor activities was also provided. There was extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS, red cross, painting, fine arts and other.
Admission
I was trying for engineering colleges but my cet rank was less than expected so I decided to some course that would be equal to engineering. And then the thought of my college came, since there was nice placement in our college I thought of joining it. After analysing my score in second pu I was admissioned to this college since my score was good not on any entrance exam.
Faculty
The faculty was great in every aspect. In the office and in the staffrooms. Lectures clarified our doubts very honestly and patiently. Staffs in the office also dealt with our problems decently. There were 6 exams in a year and all were moderate according to my knowledge because it depends on how likely we study. Very few people failed in the exams. The course curriculum was very much relevant to the exams syllabus
Night Life
Our favourite hangout spot was obviously canteen and outside our class during break hours. We used to go in a gang and spend some time in grounds playing and eating in canteen. There was hostel also available for students from far places. Hostel and campus in timings were also flexible because students used to love their hostels.
