Course Curriculum Overview

2

the subjects per sem is very theoretical and basic and I haven't seen any impactful practical subject.Exams appear in every 5 months and the gap is fine. In improving they provide more depth in the subjects

Internships Opportunities

2

I'm in 3rd semester but as I have seen there aren't much college provided internship, so we have to look for opportunity on our own. Some companies fo come to the college but I'm not aware those. So it's very obvious.

Placement Experience

1

Honestly I don't have much Idea about the campus placement but I'm damn sure it's very low in our field because the aerospace industry is still growing and there aren't much companies to provide employment. In our the 7th semester is for internship and they become eligible to campus placement from 8th semester. I have planned to approach off campus placements through my network and availability.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I got my seat from KCET counseling that's why my tution fees is 127000 yearly, yes it is all included. And some of my batchmates are from management quota, thier tution fees is 145000. I don't have any scholarship options because I'm from general quota but my friends have a scholarship called SSP but I don't have any idea about how much they are getting.

Campus Life

3

Even though the campus is small but the events are fun to attend. The college life is not incredible but it's good enough. They have many summer events, I don't know the name but there are many and every department have there own tech fests every year in our department it was "symposium" and they have college annual celebration every year.

Admission

So I was sure about the course but there were many options in the college like alliance university, RV college of engineering, MVJ college of engineering but my college i,e, ACS College of Engineering is one of the best compared in this field of aerospace engineering because they had good fees structure over the quality and I had very good reviews regarding this college. And even I was by how good the placement was even the industry is still growing in itself. Although I applied for many other colleges but I didn't get the seat in those colleges but I was satisfied with this college. Then admission process was not that difficult because we have a exam called KCET and after the exam they do everything from counselling to admission and it's very convenient.

Faculty

3

I would say there are 1 teacher for every 30 students. And the teachers are very much friendly and easy to approach through any doubts or career difficulties. Even while mentoring students they are very supportive and encouraging to all the discussions. Nagendra babu sir was one of the best faculty because of all these qualities and there is no hate towards faculty.

Night Life

4

I am a day scholar so I don't know much about the campus life but as my friends says it's quite okay. The hostels are some kind of strict. And there are many night out spot near the college since we have many hotels and restaurants. There are 2 gyms very near to the college as I have seem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.
