Placements in Aero domain should improve.Along with syllabus students are to be provided with equal industry knowledge.Our college should improve in this aspect.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has helped in grasping the knowledge about various aircraft as well as spacecraft structures.They had taken to many industries like HAL,NAL,ISRO.We had wonderful experience in Airforce technical College, Jalahalli.They have even conducted technical talks regarding various industry softwares
Placement Experience
Since ours is the first batch in our course placements are yet to begin.Accord systems have signed MOU with our branch.Hopefully they will be providing internships.
College Events
Technical forum like ACStronix is good.annual fests will be there.Aero department conducts various technical programms on Kalam's birthday.Many placement drives are held once in year where more than 50 companies participate to recruit bright Engineers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible. As I entered through CET quota I don't have much information about Management seats.I have heard that they charge about 1-2 lakhs per year for a management seat.I had paid 75000 through CET quota.Even Comed-k admissions are also there.
Fees and Financial Aid
No they didn't provide.But students under reservation class get Vidyasiri Scholarship.They even get scholarship in installments.chairmen scholarship are provided for some students
Campus Life
The gender ratio is around 1.Labs are good.sports day is held once in year.student forum is good.workshops are held good in number.Debates regarding issues will be held.Various extra curricular activities are held throughout which is a good initiative.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted.The hostel facilities are not upto the mark.They charge around 75000 for 1 year.Its too expensive.They have rooms of double sharing and triple sharing.Hostel mess is average.They have non veg as well.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are really good and supportive.Alumni network is so good.Many of them are working in good companies.some of them are abroad
Admission
I am passionate about aero field. Since this was the only College under VTU,I choose this.I got admissions through CET quota.This institution provide good outcome in aero course.In upcomming days aero field has bright opportunities open for Fresh Engineers.
Faculty
Faculties are average and are good in numbers.Seminars are often held by industry experts.They also have experts from ISRO.They have provided Guest lectures when required.At present there are 6-7 lecturers in our department.They are Master degree holders as a minimum requirement.
