Likes
- Equality before this university. Both boys and girls are equal under this university. Girls are very safe feel in this university and also boys are very matured and respect girls . All are living like a brother sister. There's bonding are so good.
- The environment of this University just wow. Greenery stays in this University. There is a big space and a selfie point have those are very beautiful. The university campus is so big . There have a almost 6 building in a main campus.
- Other buildings are located in others campus .. whole university department are very big that's why some department are located in the different place. All are very beautiful clean and big. Cleaning and Beautiful garden also maintained by workers.
Dislikes
- The mambers of adminstration building ( just one man ) is not good. Our important work he didn't get seriously. That's why our work be lazy. His nature is not good . He haven't a good behaviour. His came lately in the university even his actual time.
- Sometimes we haven't a classroom for attandance our class.. no doubt it's a big university but sometimes it's also small for us to attend our classes. And we going to different places to attend our classes.
- Sometimes we go to the early morning to attend the classes but the teachers are not came and not to inform us. We face so many problems for this. And return to home . And our whole day was wasted.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our total subjects are seven. The main subject ( Major) is so difficult.the curriculum is so big and just one question, we reading a whole big book .. for a course, we have total minimum 20 books to read. We also have 2 valueable subjects which are helps us to understanding the real world. The teaching methods are good for me. We understand the classes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fee structure is so affordable. Whos parents income are less than 1.30000 they have free admission. Our exams ragistration fees is 1100 which have not practical subject. Who have practical subjects , for them the registration fees is 1400 or 1600 almost. For present time , we didn't get or don't know about our university scholarships . But we have applied ishan Uday scholarship.
Campus Life
The name of the annual and technical festivals are general freshers, versity week, department freshers, farewell, Saraswati Puja, and also a celebrate all pujas. All are celebrated very greatly. We have a students union group who very helpfull for students. Students problems and also universitys problem they solved . All are good kinded .
Admission
Cotton university is an emotion. In Assam the cotton university is a very famous university. It's established in year 1901. It's history is so big and powerful. It's campus, it's students are so beautiful. They are so helpfully. That why I choose this University. I didn't get a rejection from others collages. The admission process is very disciplinly. 12 th pass marks , means 60% of merit basis and 40 % of cuet means entrance. Im the student of got admission this University through the merit basis.
Faculty
The relationship between facilities members and the students are good. But sometimes the facilities members take own decision without knowing about us . And sometimes they direct publish the notice of some issues which we face so many problems. We have total two exams to appreciate. And the course is very difficult. For Assamese medium, it's very difficult because this Universitys exams not allow to writing Assamese in exams . That's why Assamese medium students have so many problems. The curriculum is so big . Our one course is for 6 month but our class take only 3 months and also our Saturday and Sunday is closed of University.
Night Life
We a have a big gym, cafeterias . We don't get hostel so we don't have knowledge about hostels. Yes the university and also universitys hostels are safe to roam around at night . All are very good personality. And others members are not allowed in the hostels that's why the hostel are safe .
