Good but Not as expected

I Choose this Course Because Strong Emphasis on Labs, Workshop, Machines. As this Cirriculum not Prepares for Jobs. As Suggestions There Lots Improvement like syllabus should be Updated and Study Should be more Focused on Lab and Experiment. and teachers should also aware of what industry demand , The Frequency of exams more course more Diffucult Because We got only 4Months for Each Sem. and in 4 months 3 Exams.

From 6-7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Thermax,Adani ,L&T are the companies visted previous year 30 students got placement inThermax and approx 3 in Adani . Highest Package is approx 7-8 lakhs in core branches but in off campus it exceeds and average is approx 3-4 lakhs. 10% of students get campus placements. I plans to appear in GATE & ESE .

My year wise fee is 30000 without hostel and if you choose hostel you have to pay 10000 per semster. Tution fee per year( 2 sem) is about 23000 and one time admission fee is just 600 with one enrollment fee of 200 and about 2000 as for lab/ dept fee for 1year and 300 yearly for library and 500 as sports fee,and 1000 refundable Institude caution fee and other combines 2050 for Exam fee,students welfare fee,magazine ,fest,indentity card,tech fest and degree fee. There is no any relaxation for SC/ST in semseter fee . and students from different states got scholarship . and NSP provide your complete fee as scholarship.

Techanical Tech Fests are typically held in feb- march . In labirary you get wide range of books there is no any problems of books. as a provisions not more about it , In 2nd year mini projects starts so each group of 4 students choose fcaulty for mentors and that mentors gave a topic on which group works on it and in end sem each group must have to give presentation and report. In Sports once a year a completition held many students run social group like ABHINARTAN for dance ,music and GDSC for coding and many more.

I Choose This Collage as This Collage Is a Central collage and came Under GFTIs. so i Expect this collage have good Infra, Reputation Than Other State collage and My JEE Mains rank was also not so good so i have very limited choice. I applied for my collages and i am short listed in in CSTU, Bhillai also in CS brach but that collage have no infra like this and And Fee is also a main parameter for me this collage have least fee that suits on my budget so i choose this collage over other collages. For Admissions you have to appear in JEE Mains and attend JOSSA AND CSAB and if seats are vaccents this collage also provide sport round.

The faculty to students ratio is actually not so good . The faculty to student relationship is good but not with all faculty and faculties are much approachable any time. i like Prof. T.G alognathan as for he have lots of experience and he always try to improve our class overall involvement .Prof.T.V Arjunan, Prof. Smarjit Singh, Prof. Bhushan Singh Gautam these are best faculties of our department. I donot like prof. Punam ekka for his rude behaviour but as teaching she doing great. in Each sem. you have to attend 2 class test each of 15 marks and after this end sem esam is of 60 marks and 5 marks on attendace and 5 marks on asignment. as not much difficult and in End sem students fail but this depends on subject in hard subject many about 30 percents got failed. as course cirrculum is below the average there a lots of room of improvment.

Yes this collage have gym but not modern, Cafeteria is laso good but not really worth, but library is good it reamins opens upto 7pm. hostel timing is about 6:30 pm.a inside collage cafeteria is only place where you can hangout with friens groups and outside mutilple cafe.
