i liked the infrastructure and college buildings
i liked the swimming pools and infrastructure

Dislikes

grounds are small for playing and different courts are also small
always infrastructure work is going on and its irritating

Course Curriculum Overview

specialised subjects are their such as machine learning robotics etcc their are some drones classes for us which was overall good but none of the class provided hands on learning i dont think so that it was real life implemented scenarios

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year: 198000 tution fees :- 1,85,000 caution deposit :- 13000 (one time) 2nd year fee : 1,95,000 3rd year fee : 1,95,000 4th year fee : 1,95,000 total fess for the complete course 7,83,000 merit - based categories eligibility : top 10% scores in university exams.

Campus Life

events and fests are organized but their are so many restrictions in the campus which doesnt allow the student to enjoy club and chapters are also their in and out timing are their which are not their in any indian college which makes student life more suffocating mentallly

Admission

I didnt get computer science course in iit and nit thats why i took admission here, i got good rank in viteee but if i was younger i wont go to college due to placement scenarios and batch size of students present here which are more than 7500 in my batch only i.e 2025 graduating batch

Faculty

1:20 is the ratio not giving attention to students in the class, its very rare they come and go dr rahul panwar teached data structure topics very efficiently which helped me in my placements Dr kpriya is the teacher who has lowest class average and it was very hard for students to even pass in her lab class.

Night Life

their are no late night activities only restrictions are present here gym is overeall ok but toom much crowd you have to wait 15 min for one machine cafeterias are good but are overpriced according to taste so we order from outside

Our college have a separate placement cell which starts the preparation in 2nd year only for students from guiding them to taking mock interviews.

I got confirmed admission from VIT, Chandigarh University, SRM University and Thappar. I also applied for KIIT, MIT and IPU colleges. As I did not get a decent rank to get CS in IPU I icould not go there. I received confirmation from VIT before the the entrance examination of KIIT and MIT, so I did not even appear for the exam. SRM is rip off for the pocket so I did not go there. Thappar has lost its prestige over time so I did not go there either and Chandigrah university does not have a good market value...Read More

Life of an EEE student at VIT-C

I applied for sastra, amrita and srm deemed to be universities but VIT's admission processes were so user friendly and I know this university is better to be admitted into even though i have got a seat in those other colleges. I first started by preparing for JEE Exam which is the most popular Engineering Entrance Exam to different Government Colleges, but couldn't make it due to low score. So in search of other colleges, found VIT college.
