I like the atmosphere of govt polytechnic sundernagar because it was very pleasent and clean air
I like teachers of govt polytechnic sundernagar because they were very supportive
I like the govt polytechnic because they also offer a chance to join ncc which help student in various parameters

Dislikes

There was no good food outlet nearby college that I dislike the most
They don't have college bus which can pick or drop student on daily bases
There was no provision of joining nss for students

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the govt polytechnic sundernagar is totally based on himachal pradesh takniki shiksha board and their whole syllabus and curriculum was very relatable to the real world. Their curriculum help me a lot in my higher studies

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In my time per semester fee was 6000 and yearly it becomes about 12000 but in today's time the fee is nearly about 13000 to 14000 per year and there were many scholarships from govenment side like they have special scholarships for Sc , St students and government also offer scholarship to meretorious students .

Campus Life

My overall experience was very nice . I had enjoyed my college life so much they conduct lots of sports activities and their contact with the various reputated companies are very valueable because they call large amount of companies to college placement

Admission

The admission process is very simple himachal pradesh takniki siksha board conduct PAT exam every year . Student who wants to join this college they have to qualify this exam and after that the student is called to join the councelling process and he can join any stream according to his cutt off

Faculty

All faculty members of govt polytechnic sundernagar was very best because they were very supportive and also they were full of knowledge due to them we have learned alot and there was no any faculty member which I dislike .

Night Life

Both boys hostel and girl's hostel was very good but the gym facilities was not in good condition and the cafeteria was not bad it was average . Most hangout place outside college is kulada mahadev temple and inside college is its ground

Placement Experience:

After completion of 4th semester ie during the 5th sem or in the 3rd year the students become eligible for attending placements. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Reliance, Tata Motors, Infosys etc vist the campus of Government polytechnic college Sundernagar to provide on campus placements. For the year 2024 our seniors got the highest package ie 4.5 lpa from maruti Suzuki and the average package is 2.5 lpa. Approx 60% of the students get placed after the diploma from Government polytechnic college Sundernagar.

Placement Experience:

From the Semester 4 to 6 Various Companies do visit your Campus for the placements and college will provide 100 percent placements to the students many offers has been made vipro thinknext infosys etc. Many companies do arrive and take the interviews and make eligible student to be placed. Highest package given is 4 to 5 LPA and minimum will be 2 to 2.5 LPA. Which will be based on interviews and knowledge you have. PERCENTAGE do matter your previous semesters should be cleared there should be no backlogs and must average Diploma percentage as per you must be included in your resume after getting the diploma you might go for higher education can go for competitive exams can enter the it sector and apply for various courses

Course Curriculum Overview:

I refer to choose the course as it is a engineering course and the placements are good in the college. The way of completing the syllabus and then revision i liked it. No there is no such method to improve the course curriculum as it is already good. The exam basically is of 60 marks theory and 40 marks practical.

I have an interest in this course and also in engineering that's why I choose this course. The teachers are very kind and reachable. There were 50 students in the class among which 30% are girls and the rest were boys. the teacher was good in knowledge.

You can get into this college by two ways :- First way is by giving PAT exam for which the eligibility is class 10th. Second is by giving LEET exam for which the eligibility is +2 or iti. There are seats reserved for the category students and the cutoff are pretty medium so with a little efforts you can easily get into the diploma course of your choice. The most students take addmission into the mechanical, automobile and computer engineering course. I did chosed this college over other colleges as this is .the best as per other in area and the region itself i really wanted to Get in and i entered. I chosed this collegeover other colleges beacuse it do have learning environment,best infrastructure and for better future opportunities. The Exam You Should Crack For Getting in the college is PAT exam basically includes the subject Physics Chemistry Mathematics you are then alloted with a Branch You prefferd while filling the application form You should have your 10th Cleared /passed By any recognized Board After that colleges will be alloted to you based on your marks you get in Exams after that you will get Registered in the college and become the student their and continue your study very easy yet competitive exam to be cleared to get into this college...Read More
