Remarks

The college has to built a lot in terms of infrastructure, faculty, extracurricular activities and especially in terms of innovation inculcation and providing knowledge that is also applicable on field not just theoretical.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is okay but it is all based on the old method no new methods are teached and innovation are killed in the exam as the focus in what percentage of the data given to you have you perceived. There is a lack of on field innovation and regular criticism of your short comings are given.

Placement Experience

1

Placement at time of my passing was really bad. The college didn't even entertained any for the job opportunities, and the internship was mandatory, but they were to be arranged by the students themselves, and generally there were no stipends involved.

College Events

3

There was just a single function that was arranged in the college and that was celebration of engineers day. That one event was the highlight of the year as nothing was much special happening in the college year round after that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No not expensive it was feasible. Being a government institutions the fee structure was not expensive but the quality of education provided from the institution was not upto the mark as per the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was scholarship for the SC/ST and OBC students apart from this every semester the top 10 students of the College received refund if their tuition from the University. Apart from that there were no scholarship programs.

Campus Life

2.5

Inter branch and inter college sports activities were often held. Laboratory were part of our daily life. Apart from that no activities were held just a single function nothing more than that happened.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, the college was in my hometown so I lived at my home. But I did have some friends that lived in the hostel. Sometimes I visited the hostel just to meet my friends and found that the hostel infrastructure was not good, it was shabby lacking in cleanliness and facilities were bare minimum.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is great. All that are part of it are helpful. It be India or any part of it they are always ready and available for help, any kind of help. Senior at the start of the college were a bit of punk and after the first year passed they became more of friends with us.

Admission

Give an entrance exam then sit in the counselling according to your marks and seats available you will get your college. Then get all your documents verified and then submit it to the college for verification once completed your admission in the college is complete.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was good those who were professor but apart from that the guest lecturer and the ad-hoc teachers were really bad they only wanted to complete what section of course was given to them, they didn't want to entertain any innovative questions from the students.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.
