Course Curriculum Overview

4

i want to go for government job and for that reason i think civil engineering is one of the best engineering branch also i am more interested in geotechnical engineering that makes me opt this branch. College gives students full responsibility for fests and events so that they could get involved in it making them prepare for real world applications. i am first year students so even I don't know much where they could improve in this curriculum. In every 1-2 months intervals we have exams and difficulty of exam is moderate.

Placement Experience

2

Highest package for college last year was around 12-15lpa and average package is 2 to 5 lpa. from 5th to 6th semester students are eligible for placements. i am planning to do M.Tech after my B.Tech degree and then pursue for State PSC exams

Fees and Financial Aid

during admission they take 24300 rs. in which 22300 is annual college fees and 2000 is admission fees. Otherwise its 24300 rs./year. for tution fee waiver students or TFW fees is 2000rs. during admission and 700rs. college fees per year. same fees criteria is for other castes. and this cost covers all facilities provided from college. same goes for other branches of B.Tech engineering.

Campus Life

4

infrastructure of college is quite good as it was established in 1964 there are many fests and sports events like aarambh, agaaz, Freshers premier league, Engineers premier league, Tech Fests and many more. in sports include volleyball football Cricket badminton. there are various students run club like Cultural club, design club, Sports club,e-cell and many more.

Admission

I am a day scholar i belong to the same city. also my JEE score was not good enough to get top tier college. And i want to pursue for government job for that reason i took civil engineering. And for civil engineers placement is difficult in many colleges so this college was good enough for me also this is Government College so i guess it was better for me to opt this college. My college take admission through MPDTE counselling where it takes you get allotment to your college through JEE Score.

Faculty

4

Teachers are good but students are not well matured and cooperative making it difficult for teacher to connect to them. but as for some of them who tried to ask doubt gently teachers have nice behaviour towards them.I like physics faculties more as my interest is on physics more but other than that their behaviour is so genuine and gentle that makes them best faculties of college. Other faculties are also good i have not found anything wrong regarding any teachers yet. in each semester there are two mid semester exams in which best of two is considered for addition in finals...mid sems are of 20 marks and quiz is of 10 marks making 30 in total which is added in finals.

Night Life

3

i am day scholar I don't know much but as much i know hostel facilities are quite good in terms of room space and mess food. but they don't have gym. college do has 2 libraries General Library and SC/ST category library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.

The placements in sage university Bhopal are quite satisfying as the average package over here is 5,00,000 per year, with top packages going for about 10,00,000 per year. Along with that, many internships are also offered here.
