Genuine review by the student of Rewa Engineering College

The curriculum is still very old as it is the mostly theory oriented not much practical oriented therefore real world knowledge is very low teaching method is need to upgrade The frequency of exam is very high because the ends and exam is taken very late every semester there for the new semester is of very less time approx 4 month therefore result is not as expected

There is no internship opportunities given from the college but of campus there are some companies near college who give internship opportunities like VTL Birla cable UltraTech and some others but if we talk about the internship opportunities from college there is no as such internship opportunities given from the college

There is no internship opportunities given from the college in second third year but at the seventh semester you will get placement opportunities from college on campus placement drive as the training and placement cell of colleges very active they make many companies to come in the college and recruit students I I was also the part of the recent placement drive taken in college from dhoot transmission Which is giving approx 3.5 lakhs average package to students and there are a lot of companies comes in the college Like agi greenpac UltraTech technook cognizant eicher and many more the average package of college is approx 3 to 4 lpa according to student Replacement coordinators like Yashwant sir help a lot student to take best of their package from the on campus drive There are 70% students got placed from on campus drive who was sitting in on campus placement drive students also takes t of campus placement for higher packages in the year 2025 the highest package of the on campus placement drive is 8 LPA and the lowest packages is approx 3lpa

The annual fees of the course is 23000 per year including with the caution fees of 1000 so the total fees will be 24000 per year. I did not opted for the hostel therefore I don't know the fees hostel fees and mess fees but as per information from my friends it is around 6000 per year with the daily miss charges of rs 90 for the daily Meel breakfast lunch dinner and evening snacks. There are many scholarships including with medhavi Chhatra Yojana post matric scholarship for OBC and SC ST. Eligibility criteria for medhavi Chhatra Yojana is 75% in in class 12th MP board or 85% in CBSE board and for the post matric scholarship for OBC you must be from OBC category and for SC and ST you must be from SC and ST category and your family income must be less than 1 lakh there is a amount of exam fees of rupees 1285 for per semester before exam Ine medhavi Chhatra Yojana u vil gate 100% fees refund and in post matric scholarship for OBC you will get 29000 per year and for SC and ST it will be around same or 46000 per year Also there is a hostel facility for SC ST student free of cost from the government and the stationery is free for SC ST student it will given by the college.

My experience in campus life is very good as I was a in part of clubs like ECell which is one of the main club of the college there are many clubs in college like a Recpedia, abhiruchi, avishkar, ecell the main clubs of college are recpedia, Ecell , and abhiruchi every year annual fist happens in odd semester name aarambh which is of approx 4 days in which every club conduct event and activities and sports fest happened in after one or two months of aarambh which is name as agaaz and every club then conduct individual events ecell is the major active club of the college which continuous conducts event and the sports and extra curricular activity of the college is very good student run the clubs mainly also Ganesh utsav is celebrated very well every year and garba night is also celebrated very well so the overall extra curriculum experience is very good and satisfy If we talk about library there are very old books in library of old cariculam some journals aur published by the faculties which is provided to the library the overall experience is well

I feel this college because of low fees structure as the other TS3 colleges compared to my college Rewa engineering colleges very high therefore it give a good BTech fees structure I applied for many colleges like RGPV SGSITS JEC BUT I GOT REWA ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN CHOICE filling admission process is very smooth it takes about 2 to 3 hours after that verification if fees payment you will enter the college the college is still in growing face in compared to other colleges estabilized earlier If we talk about admission process you must have given to JEE mains and after the counselling the college will allotted to you

See the faculty to student ratio is about 1: 30 in my course electronics and communication engineering which is low faculty is very approachable and helpful but in academics they are very strict they always just want to take classes and force for the 75% attendance criteria which make a pressure on student to not start any extra curricular activities the course teaching by the faculty is still very theoretical very old oriented not much practical knowledge is given to the student but out of academics the faculties are very helpful they help in training placement mentors in minor and major projects and also mentors in hectathon Nidhi mam is the most helpful faculty in electronic and communication department as she always motivates and always keep very pretical knowledge including theoretical knowledge. In every semester there will be 2 midsems one is taken in half semester and the second one is taken in just before the semester exams and best of then will be considered also the semester exam is good and moderate types but it is taken very late as compared to other University there for the next semester starts very late which makes pressure in students. As I said before the faculties of Electronics and communication department is very strict therefore many students do not score the good marks because they cut much marks in the practicals and the midsems but still students are very hard working and try to improve themselves the cost curriculum is associated with RGPV University it is still very old curriculum mostly theory oriented and less practical oriented The marking scheme of RGPV University is grade wise so there is a great scheme in also rewa engineering college as it is associated with RGPV.

Night life of college this not good as it does not exist only hostel students are there in college they play badminton and volleyball at night the gym and cafeteria is opened but the canteen is not in college due to some reasons the hostel has no timing to go in the campus but to go outside you have to come before the 9 p.m. the famous hangout place near the college is atal Park and inside the college is the Agaaz ground over college life is good but night life is not as expected it is just closed as the majority students are from local and nearby districts nearby cities but still approx 20 to 30% students are from different and far cities like Bhopal Indore and many others
