Ravenshaw life

I found various way after pursuing this course. One thing is that the preparation phase of the exam should be increased that mean to say students should be notified before 15 days of the exams. Also in my elective subjects there's no faculty that is for statistics for which we suffered a lot so this should also to be considered.

Course fee is Rs.620/-per year different according to course pursue. For science students it's Rs.620/- and fir arts it's Rs.600/-. There's no tuition fee. Youth sports, laboratory, commemoration day, library, society fee is Rs. 50/- each. Health care . Insurance and magazine fee is Rs. 30/- each. Athletic fee Rs.25/-. Drama,music , film society and furniture fee Rs. 20/- each. Reading room fee Rs.15/-. Common room and day scholar association fee Rs.10/- each. Social service guid, welfare fund, scout and guide , NCC Rs. 5/- each. The examination fee is Rs.100/-. The scholarship fee is Rs. 12,000/- for hons. And for self finance course it's varying according to their course fee. The scholarship is Post matric scholarship for sc st MBC welfare.

The infrastructure and environment in my college is very good. Hostel wise events, fest were organised. The classrooms have projectors. Many seminars are conducted. There's different club activities also.

In my hostel there's 6 beds and 6 cupboard also they provide table and chair for each student. There's a library in hostel too. Rest room and dining hall is there. The registration for hostel done in admin block.

As it's one of the reputed college in Odisha and many students have dream to study there so anyone would loved to being a part of it. I didn't get rejection from other colleges. I applied for others but as compered to them I found Ravenshaw quite good. Ravenshaw's academic results are also good. So the admission procedures in 2020 was like for University registration was there and on the basis of your percentage what we called as on the merit basis and student's honours preference the Honours subjects were allotted.

Faculty to students ratio in my department is for 100 students there's one professor. Dr. Manoj Das from economics department I like his teaching style but other than him Dr. Dharmabrata Mahapatra also a good mentor. In economics department guest faculties are also very co operative. There's 6 semester and for each semester there's also an internal exam. The level of exam is quite good.

There's no late night activities for the safety concern. There's separate gym for both boys and girls also there's an open gym. Also there's an amphitheatre to conduct functions. Hostel in timing was 9pm for girls but if there's any function then the time extend to 10pm. Famous hangout places like there's a cafeteria and lawns. Locality is good as it is in the town area.
