Average Engineering college in Mangalore

When it comes to course its more of a theory concepts and it gives deep knowledge and helps to understand and study form basics. Practical application subjects are less and there are practical labs till 6th semester where we will get good handson experience. Also concepts are easy to understand.

In our first year college ivited a training company called 10 seconds from bangalore to train us on C programming. They provide a 1 month internship to us and there was no stipend and we paid the fee to college for that training. We need to search the company and get internships fro outside if we needed.

Since i got the seat in this college through KCET merit quota its common for everyone that is 90060 which we will pay for first year at bank NEFT direct to the government, after that we can pay the fee in college itself, then 10000 rupees will be collected from college for skill lab fee and mine hostel fee is 77000. I am getting SSP scholorship proovided by Karnataka government for engineering students every year around 20000.

Overall campus experience is very good. having good campus and decent greenery in campus with good nearby distance to hospital and bus stand. In libraries also we will get free access to journals and ebooks, Many student association and each department association conducts events regularly in college.

In our hostel its 3 sharing with attached bathroom. its very good when it comes to facilities and with hot water facilities at each floor and also lift facility. Hostel fee is 77k for our batch which is same for all 4 year. hostel food is very bad and no hygiene.

This college has good infrastructure also popular for its education too and placements here is also pretty good in this college. As i didnt have good ranking in my KCET and Iam not able to get other top colleges so as this college cutoff was similar to my ranking so i got tj+his college.

When it comes to faculties its very good faculty to student ratio, and they are good and easily approachable, some lectures are not good in teaching always torturing students by giving extra works assignments. They will finish the syllabus within given time. They will conduct 3 internal assessments per semester and final university exam by VTU. exams will be sometimes easy and sometimes moderate which won't be difficult to get pass.

There is gym in college which will be open till 8pm and its having good equipments. canten is not very good and very costly with poor taste. hostel is good in infrastructure and facilities provided but mess food in hostel is not very good its very bad. There are good hotels, and places for hangouts near to the college within 5-10km.
