1 Year Experience of my college

The college is good not that great but good. We have some ups and downs but the college is always trying to improve itself and the infrastructure. The college is good for you if you are ready to do some study on your own as some staffs are not good in their subjects.

The course curriculum here in my college is set and monitored by Pune University. The curriculum is good and it includes most of the topics needed for the bachelorette degree and mostly the Pune University offers a good and wide range of topics. The exam structure is also set by university and conducted by colleges so in first 2 years we have 50-50 criteria in which 50 marks is theory and 50 marks is online MCQs.

The placements in my college is ok. Not that great not that bad but it's ok. Here we have our placement officer who takes responsibility of the placements and companies coming to our college. The college conducts a STP course from the start of the year for students in which they work on our skills. Unfortunately internship is not provided by my college but they do support students who are interning.

Sinhgad college have the best events ever offered by a college. Here we have a very great Sinhgad Karandak festival which includes tons of events and competitions. The best part about this is the EDM night at the last day.

The fee structure is same as like all other colleges and it's not that much. The fees can be paid in parts and it's good for those who can't afford to pay all at once. They charge a 3000 RS for the STP training at the start only once.

The college offers all the scholarships provided by government of India and it supports all of them. The college offers Tution Fee Wavier Scheme to most of the students from which the fees gets reduced by 50%.

We have all types of extra curricular activities time to time throughout the year and even we can arrange the events and activities such as Coding Competitions, seminars,expert lectures. We have Audit course which is a subject itself in which we do extra activities aside regular syllabus. The labs are good to and equipped with latest and good machine some machines give problems sometimes but the lab assistant takes care of that.

The senior students are good here in my college most of the time they are busy with their respective lectures and practicals we interact only at time of events or any functions. They are helpful and friendly. We have no ragging cases.

So basically after i completed my Diploma there is a procedure for everyone provided by DTE Committee which we have to follow and the admissions are done based on the seat availability, percentage. We have to fill option form in which we mention our expected colleges and courses and we will get the college according to our percentage.

The faculty in my college are good now but when i started there were some strikes going on so the students faced some problems but still most of the faculties covered there syllabus. The faculty here are very friendly and understanding they are ready to help anytime and have vast knowledge of their respective subjects as well as others. Some staff is not good in their subjects but still they try their best.
