LPU - Must see review. U will regret if you don't read it

The curriculum I would say prepares you about 20%-30% for real world applications. In suggestions I would say that they can hire some good teachers and need to improve their education structure as whole. Because the practical which are taught only some of them are useful and they are not taken seriously and the lab records which are important are not returned to students and are sold to God knows who. They were not returned atleast to me and my batchmates and also my seniors. The timing of exams is 2 months after sem starting and then 2 months later again. So it's a 4 mont sem instead of 6.

It's has to be self searched like you yourself have to apply for it and then do it there are very low chance the college itself will provide you with it. Teachers themselves have different say in this matter some say we will provide while some says otherwise

Personal sem fee is 80,000 without scholarship. With scholarship exam of lpu u can easily get 30% waiver in fee like myself and if u are too good in studies the fee could even amount upto 10-20k per sem. The registration fee admission fee varies each year so I don't know specific as of now. I pay 45k in fee per semester and there are batchmates of mine who pays 30k and some who pay 18k around. So it all depends on how many entrance exams u have given like CUET or on lpu's scholarship exam results but all in all it's an affordable course

There are many events which continues in campus like- Magnitude, DJ nights and many others Social life is very good you get to know many people and the environment is also good Restriction are bit too much for both girls and boys and I would also say that girls even after so much security are not secure. Like recently there was a girl who was r#ped in hostel by an electrician. Sports aspect is good there is a whole dedicated gymnasium and there are also many other grounds where you can play almost any sport. Clubs are also good there are many clubs which help you grow.

Facilities are basic and not worth the money I would say. Meals are good depending upon hostel like BH-1,2,3 are comparatively better in mess than others Registration is online on the app of lpu after you have taken admission or in their addmission office Rooms or PG can be found in Phagwara, Jalandhar, Green valley, Law gate (although I wouldn't recommend)

I chose this college because they assured me a lot of things and I assumed that as per the fame of lpu this maybe a right choice also the fee was a deciding factor for me but later I regretted a lot so be wise. I didn't went to other colleges because they demand high fee but I would say u go there cause the lpu cost just as much. I would prefer UPES. Eligibility is none u just have to score more than 60% in 12th and u are good to go and there is no more criteria u can be from any background or stream

Faculties are absolutely trash and trash believe me there were some teachers like DR. PARMENDRA. ERA SOOD. DR. NISHA, DR. AAYUSH. These are the only faculty members wise and good in whole department but most of them have already left the college and the new faculties are not so upto the mark. There is even a pervert in the department and he is named DR.Vikram. he will straight up ignore u in the class if u are a boy and a girl who is not upto his standards I guess. But ignoring boys is just..... Also he finds trouble for no reason. Exams - there are two exams apart from assignments (assignments include atleast 1 written examination per subject) the 2 main ones are the - *Mid terms* - these are just like half yearly exams and no one is failed in these exams and they are of moderate in difficulty. *End terms* - these are the sem end exams and are comparatively harder than the previous ones but if u have attended some classes and u are good or even average at studying u can get a green pass but some subjects can vary and this review is not absolute about difficulty so do study

Gym is midium end gym not so high equipped and not so low. You can get good facility as per it's price which is 5000 per year. There is no specific hostel timing but yea after 10 pm the guards starts bothering you if you are out and they will ultimately lead you to your hostel back. (To boys) Girls are to be in hostel by 7.55 or else tha gate to hostel is closed and you are to contact your parents so that they allow you back in. (In winters it's 7) Famous spots are Robo park and dildo garden.
